Xiaomi Handheld Vacuum Cleaner – Review [Xiaomify]

YES! The Xiaomi handheld, cordless, vacuum cleaner; I finally got my hands on one!
Is it any good? Let’s find out! Find it on AliExpress: http://bit.ly/XMF_AE_MJHHVC

The Xiaomi handheld vacuum cleaner is a pretty powerful, cordless vacuum cleaner with a 2500mAh battery that allows for about 30 minutes of cleaning time (160mยณ). In this video, I’m comparing its sound levels and testing out how well this vacuum cleaner works.

It has a 350W, 9-cyclone engine that has about 100AW suction strength. (100.000 rpm brushless motor) On the handle, it has a “MAX” button that will increase its regular vacuum strength by 4X to get to its maximum power. This will be A LOT stronger than it’s regular vacuum strength but will also drastically decrease the actual vacuum time to about 6 minutes.

Being around 1.5 KG it’s lightweight and it’s impressively silent due to its brushless motor. I’ve compared it with my old vacuum cleaner and the difference is really big. Both in vacuum strength and in its loudness.

The vacuum comes with 4 attachments: an electric, motorized, floor brush, a motorized bed/sofa brush, a keyboard brush, and a flat/crevice nozzle. These attachments can be attached with or without the extension rod. All of the attachments, as well as all filters and dust-bin of the vacuum cleaner, can be cleaned with water which is very convenient. (Everything excepts for the main unit with the motor…)

It comes with 5 different filters which, as far as I have tested, work very well as it did not give out any smells when using the vacuum.

I believe the handheld vacuum cleaner is manufactured for Xiaomi by Roborock, who also manufactures the Xiaomi vacuum robot and it’s a very well designed and well-functioning vacuum cleaner.

Overall I think it is a very nice looking and well-working vacuum cleaner. In my tests, it did have some problems with bigger things. I tried it with a bunch of torn-up paper, together with catfood and the contents of an ashtray and the paper had clogged it up. However, generally, it works very well for everyday cleaning and it’s quite attractively priced for a vacuum cleaner of this caliber.

Why are you wearing shoes inside? It's disgusting

Zenza says:

Two cons:ย
1: That dumping mechanism will not work efficiently if it is not emptied frequently. (dust is sticky and will not be removed from the dust bin)
2: You have to continuously hold the trigger to vacuum. I don't think it is helpful if you're vacuumming for more than few minutes.
Otherwise it looks good!

Would be nice to compare to a Dyson.

Nice review! I'm interested in this for my grandparents. The question is how long the battery lasts on the different settings as 160m2 doesn't say anything…
So how long on low, how long on max, how long to charge?

Thanks man! Keep up the good work!
Prettige dag nog! ๐Ÿ˜€

urban iten says:

I don't think anyone would vaccum that much of hard garbage anyway! usually we will collect those hard stuff before then vacuum. so I think it dose a good job.
also the attemchtment head looks unsuitable for big chunks. I think it would do good on carpets?

Great video, you are the best when it comes to Xiaomi reviews. !!

WestHam66 says:

Wow could X iaomi have a lawsuit on their hands so brazenly copying a Dyson? I have the Air Purifier 2S which I love and is an amazing product. It has completely transformed the quality of my sleep by helping remove dust etc from my bedroom and I may add the step up Pro soon for another larger room. The above vacuum cleaner doesn't look very good tho- for 100 euros more than the X iaomi vacuum you can still find a genuine Dyson V8 in a bundle with all the attachments…I haven't tried the X iaomi but just from above video I would say the Dyson is a far better option. The guy over at Vacuum Wars need to test the X iaomi.

Sir_GoBuS says:

Love your channel mate but you could really tell more about how long battery last in normal mode and in turbo mode.

will16320 says:

Dyson must be fuming, they even called the bin a 'cyclone' hahah

Fake Dyson. Chinese did Chinese thing again. They have no shame.
They are truly lesser human.
