Testing the most popular stick vacuums on the market: I was shocked with what I found

I tested some of the most popular vacuums on the market today. In today’s video, we will put the new Ryobi 18v Whisper Stick Vacuum up against the Dyson V8 and the Tineco Pure One S11. The thing is, I was shocked with how some of these stick vacuums preformed.

Hey all, I messed up a bit. The Ryobi $249 price is for tool only. $379 for the kit . Sorry 😪

@mourgos1234 says:

You re not supposed to use the Dyzon on Max setting all the time, thats why its sucking the carpet.

@Norrlands-rg5vm says:

The Ryobi is loud as hell though, i got one myself

@eaglefan240 says:

Your hate for the dyson is not really valid. I have the v8 and although it's plastic it's not cheaply made. The suction on high is amazing the low setting is a waste. So the only valudbissuebisnthe battery life on high. If you have a small carpeted area it's okay.

@craigjoe8691 says:

I got the Ryobi and after a month my wife got rid of the Dyson. The interchangeable batteries are the best part of the system. She grabs a 6Ah and gets the whole house done where with the Dyson she had to do half the house, charge it, then finish the other half.

@l7o6s5c4 says:

Also lastly, the Dyson does have a ā€œhard surface cleanerā€ head attachment. That one you’re using is for carpet. Just sayin

Cocoa pebbles are NOT the same as cocoa crispies… Agree button

@l7o6s5c4 says:

Bro that Dyson must’ve been a return or maybe refurbished.. there’s no way lol
Dyson is the best I’ve used so far but I’m very excited to see how ryobi has improved and is a major competitor now!!

@Mytagforhalo says:

I really want to love the ryobi. they've done so much right. But other reviews have shown that it doesnt have a properly sealed canister. Which means fine dust is getting blown back into your house. Not a huge deal in the shop perhaps. But it's important to note. Similarly, there's a reason why dyson provides the fluffy roller with their other vacuums. Hard floor sweeping isnt something many vacuums have excelled at until they started looking at the fluffy roller and had the genius idea of "why not both".

@procrastinator1842 says:

The people who buy dyson, are the type of people who couldn't spend 6 minutes researching anything if their life depended on it.

@frustratedalien666 says:

9:05 In some cases, blowing and sucking is the same deal. Vacuuming isn't one of those šŸ˜

@Jacbean10 says:

Wow. Nice review. Been looking for a stick vac for the hardwood. Gotta choose the RYOBI. Thanks!

@bobbystewart2605 says:

U must’ve gotten a broke unit bc mine stands on its own too just like the whisper and it’s the same one u show 5:33

@gnarfle says:

I've had two Dyson stick vacs and I've not been impressed with their quality for the price. Performance is ok, but both of mine broke within a few years. The plastic and build quality just seem poor, my current V8 model has had the plastic trigger guard break off so sharp plastic scratches your hand and the plastic tube has an insane amount of play in it making it wobbly. Still running for now at least, but I get the impression that even though these things are $400+ they are meant to be disposable and won't last you more than 3-5 years.

@JimWinters-l9b says:

GREAT VIDEO !!! Will help me convince my wife that we need to ditch the Dyson and go with Ryobi !!! Thank You!!!!!!!!!

@rowanrm says:

Agreed as an owner of a Dyson v15 that my kid filled with water and burned the motor out (Dyson still doesn’t have them for sale) and switched to the new ryobi it is the best! The battery being the main reason tbh and the price! It does a great job cleaning! Love it!

@antjornime says:

would like to get it as I'm on the ryobi platform and need a vacuum, but it seems if you want to enter the market for cordless stick vacuums, you're entering a vastly overpriced market that focuses on convenience and gimmicks over quality of build. I would agree that the dyson is cheap, ready to break plastic, and the other one is mediocre, but I was a bit surprised that the whisper quiet stick Ryobi has pretty shitty reviews on home depot (even compared with the other ryobi sticks) with regards to durability, along with a few other flaws. Many reviews (on any product) are worthless if people only review it inside the first month or so of owning the tool.

@klwarhouse says:

Your "previous" model Ryobi must be broken. It should stand up on its own.

@elic.2443 says:

"Ground Covfee" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@jacoblynch9862 says:

I just had to return a Ryobi animal stick vac because it stopped working properly. It would start making a weird fluttering noise and would not run on high. I tried cleaning it and everything. The cleaning videos told me to do it still did it. Ours was not close to 2 1/2 months old, so we just returned it and got our money back now we’re about to be on the chore of replacement or something else

@TheLordDeliverence says:

Like most Ryobi products, if you register online, it extends the warranty. After I registered my Ryobi stick vac, it now has a 6 year warranty.

@One_Guy says:

your Cereal montage was so epic! LOL 10:35

@JesusRodriguez-el5ft says:

Can u pls post link to full review

@marvineid3085 says:

Which vacuum is the quietest?

@MajorPickleSwag says:

To be fair that is one of the cheapest dysons but it is around the same price as the others so this was a fair comparison. Def gonna consider getting the ryobi

@samueladams584 says:

Oh so this year Ryobi Days is trying to push off the old vacuum model at the same price as last year instead of the new improved model… šŸ¤”
