We’ve covered a whole lotta vacuums on REVU2U, but when it comes to sucking up pet hair, most of them really suck.

So how does Hoover’s latest cordless stick vacuum designed specifically for pet hair stack up?

Out of the box you have the main vacuum which consists of the motor, dirt cup and handle assembly connected to the reach wand and motorized power head.

You’ll also find a removable battery, battery charger, wall mount kit, crevice tool and dusting brush.

There’s also a motorized pet tool designed specifically for pet hair.

One press of the power button on the handle and the OnePWR Blade Max springs to life – utilizing what Hoover describes as “Dual Cyclonic Dustvault Technology”.

They don’t really go into detail about what that means, apart from claiming that it traps up to 99.4% of dust and fine particles.

To activate the motorized brush head, press the brushbar button on the handle.

The antimicrobial brushbar helps to dislodge dust, hair and debris from the carpet while preventing buildup of those nasty pet odors.

If the default setting just isn’t cutting it for you, press the boost button for some extra suction.

For those extra stubborn spots where pet hair is everywhere, the pet tool makes light work of thick matted shedding.

When you’re done cleaning, the dirt cup can be emptied with a press of a single button, keeping your hands clean.

The supplied lithium-ion battery is good for around 45 minutes on the default setting before needing to be recharged in the 1.5A charger.

So, what do we like about the Hoover ONEPWR Blade MAX Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner?

This vacuum really does what it claims to – making short work of pet hair even in carpets and car upholstery.

But it’s just as versatile as a cordless vacuum without a pet.
