Hey my loves, here is my review of this cordless hoover FD22RA Freedom Lithium 2-in-1 cordless stick vacuum cleaner. In my opinion this might just be the best cordless vacuum for this price. Ofcourse there will always be more expensive cordless vacuum that may offer better features but for the price of this hoover FD22RA, I’d say you definitely are getting more for your dollar. The features of this vacuum are very similar to the Dyson V7 cordless vacuum. Almost similar– in fact the capacity of this cordless hoover FD22RA is a lot more than the Dyson V7. Both brands use Lithium-ion battery, both can be wall mounted. However, Dyson V7 runs only 5 minutes longer than the Hoover FD22RA. Basically, both this cordless model from Dyson and Hoover have a very similar feature but the Dyson cost so much more. A few months ago when we first purchased the Hoover it cost us £169. Whereas the Dyson V7 could have easily set us back £370! I also used to own a non-cordless vacuum from Dyson which we bought 4 to 5 years ago, it cost us £380. Yes that Dyson vacuum have served us well but it surely wasn’t the most sensible purchase we made. That non-cordless Dyson vacuum stopped working properly after 4 or 5 years, we had to eventually throw it in the rubbish. Here we are with a new cordless vacuum from a different brand, so much more convenient to use and its reasonably priced. Personally, I think this hoover is a dupe of the cordless Dyson V7. Actually I wouldn’t even consider it a dupe as dupes are usually of lower quality but the Hoover FD22RA— in my opinion is of equal quality in terms of the vacuum doing it’s job. The suction is good, the filter works brilliant, it’s light weight, it has a continuous switched on mode, it can be wall mounted and other features which you can also find in the specification list manual. Definitely one of our most sensible purchases this year and in my opinion probably the best cordless vacuum for this price! I’d like to mention though that Dyson has recently released a new cordless vacuum model, I believe it’s called DYSON Cyclone V10 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner which has slightly better features but be prepared to pay £400. Again in my opinion, the specs of this newer model from Dyson isn’t that ground breaking that I’d pay 400 for it. Hence we decided to go for the Hoover brand which has fairly decent specs for a lot less!
