I agree with a lot of people are saying you're using the wrong attachment. The V15 comes with so many attachments there's one for just about any scenario.
At the end of the push portion for the Dyson and the Ryobi, you can see the video was cut and edited. There is some missing time in there as they pull each vacuum back it cannot be trusted that it is from that actual first push forward.
You're using the wrong attachment for the Dyson. Further, who in the world spills a box cereal and a bag of popcorn and a cup of flour? This is the wrong tool for the job. I would go straight to a broom or my shop vac before my Dyson V15. Ridiculous 🤣

The Ryobi looks so chunky, one of my favorite parts about the Dyson is how easily I can whip it around all my furniture
I've had the same animal dyson since 2004 and it does a better job than my newer ones. But it's so bulky and I can't part with it.
I'd go straight for the hosepipe of my Dyson DC07.
That's Dyson's way of telling you to pick it up yourself. If you are vacuuming food like that you will get mold. Dyson is better
