Using the appliance:
1.Open the dust compartment and check whether the filter is securely held.
2.Insert the plug in the 12V DC cigarette lighter socket of the car.

I would recommend this product if you do not already have one … I would recommend this product if you do not already have one hand-held vacuum in the house. Nice for cleaning the car without an extension cord every time! I have not used this for wet at all because the box and manual specifically state dry. It makes me wonder if there is a misprinting going on here.So in my use for dry (pet hair and dirt) this works fine.
