What We Dislike about the Dyson V7

See V7 review: https://vacuum-cleaner-advisor.com/Dyson-Vacuums/dyson-v7-motorhead-review.html
In this video we discuss several issues we have with the Dyson V7 motorhead cordless stick vacuum. In particular we highlight the lower suction at the cleaner head on low power mode (lower than V7 or V8), the lack of a HEPA filter, the fact that the Motorhead and Animal models do not include a soft roller cleaner head (which is great on bare floors), the short run time in max mode, the need to continually depress the power trigger, the inability to swap out the battery, the fact that a small stick vac like the V7 will not replace a full size vacuum (cannot do prolonged deep cleaning), and that edge cleaning ability is average.

I'm guessing this has something to do with them getting their product into Walmarts

Hi, I have Dyson V7 handheld vaccum, can I use the soft roller tool? Or is there a suction difference between the V7 stick and V7 handheld

Hi, I have just purchased a different version of V7, which is called Fluffy. It basically has the soft rolling cleaner head and the mini rolling head (they also come with the Absolute but not with the Motorhead). We are pretty satisfied so far, as we have no carpets, but parquet all over our apartment. We got is with a discount, which makes the purchase even more satisfying 🙂

Totally love your honest reviews. You are not biased in anyway, unlike a lot of Dyson lovers on YouTube. that was interesting to see the poor edge performance & it's disappointing. But Dyson have converted people with their lies as alwars. May I point out that if you continuously run the Dyson V cordless models on Max a lot, you will experience battery problems far sooner than the 2 year warranty expires. The battery on my V8 Absolute only lasts 3 minutes now – it's knackered already. Also I think that Dyson didnt do not swappable batteries as they maybr concerned due to the issues they had on the DC35 or they are concerned the electronics or motor wouldn't maintain reliability over time if you can just keep using it for ages Possibly it could be due to the poor batteries they use
