In this video we discuss some of the things we dislike about the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute. In particular we highlight that the battery cannot be swapped out, that the trigger must continually be depressed to get power, that you only get 60 minutes of run time in certain configurations of power and cleaner head, that the dustbin can be tricky to empty, that it is heavier than its v6, v7 and v8 predecessors, that the handheld component is a bit bulky, that on Max mode the battery life is rather short, that on low power mode you only get 15.8 air watts of suction, that it isn’t easy to determine whether it cleans better than the V8, and that it is a rather expensive cordless stick vacuum.

can swap V8 battery, 3 phillips screws, EZPZ 30secs, I bought a 6000mah v8 batry aliexpress,$59. runs 10min longer than OEM batry
Presented well but too many tedious details, video could have been a lot shorter. I really liked the comparison of the different vacuums, I will probably go for a v8 now if there is little difference.
Hi please can you help me i have a tile house and i want to buy a dyson cordless i like the v8 what do you think
squat game at 💯
Very informative but definitely subscribing for the cool dad vibes 😎
Thanks for the comparable review! 👍
Haha candysmom i guess you only clean for a few minutes so you should keep your comments to yourself im just imagining how dirty your carpet is OH WAIT let me guess you probably HIRE SOMEONE to clean for you
A lot of the other v10 videos are more of an ad rather than a review. Thanks for actually reviewing the product.
vax is better
Very interesting and helpful. Thanks.
1 thing I think will work against these companies is all trying to get into there own Batteries. Ppl want Cordless, but we don’t want to own or deal with 7 different battery and charger brands. Just make adapter plates into 2 or 3 tool brand batteries and watch your market share explode when you take $100 off the price for a tool only.
The V10 waste cylinder seems to have a diagram demonstrating the emptying process, maybe a close up of what happens if you follow it would prove whether it’s your technique or the release catch design that causes the alleged problem.
I’ve had the v10 for a few months and there are a few very annoying thing about it. Yes the power button is super annoying because it seems it’s impossible to avoid touching it when you are moving the vacuum or disassembling it. My biggest issue is removing the damn wand so that I can empty dust canister. I am fighting with it constantly. Any tips there?
I have the DC59 animal and the V6 Fluffy and both run 20 mins on lower power and 15 minutes on high. What is most annoying is the dyson tools are not compatible with other dysons. I have a Dyson DC34 that no longer works as the battery has gone kaput on it. I cannot use the tools for that on either of my DC59 animal or V6 fluffy.
Worst vacuum Ive ever owned
Türkçe istiyorum. Bu aleti almayı düşünüyorum ve sırf bunun için ingilizce öğrenmek zorunda değilim.
Another note this video did make me feel good because I own 2 v8 and I hate when people come out with new things cuz I always want the newest thing but looks like my V8 is still good plus I use it a lot in my car and it's already somewhat difficult to use in the car so the V10 being so big really would not work in my car. I love love love my V8 and the Bissell crosswave Pet Pro if you don't own one of those it is the most amazing thing you could own I absolutely think I love it more than my V8 because I spill stuff all the time and it vacuums mops and does everything all at the same time 4 less than one of my V8
I don't mind the fact that you have to press the button it's not a hard button to press it doesn't hurt your hand and it's a safety thing what if you have like a heart attack or a stroke while your vacuuming and one of your pets runs up you know it's just much safer to have to press the button
CordZero A9 is better
i have a shark, its better, you can swap the battery
