To charge the battery, slide it out the from its slot in the centre of the vacuum cleaner and place in the supplied charging station for just 3 hours, or until the light indicates it has reached full charge. This compares to a charge time of 8 to 16 hours for a vacuum cleaner that uses traditional Ni-CD batteries.
Once full, it stops charging to conserve energy and protect the battery. A fully charged battery provides consistent suction for up to 15 minutes, giving you enough runtime to clean all your floors. Excellent video Roger! I like my US twin Hoover Linx, it came with two batteries, so I used it often. I have better luck as Kermit has short Chihuahua/Corgi hair and this vacuum gets it out of my carpets with ease. Thank you for the thorough review and as always I enjoy watching you vacuum. ??? I agree with you and if someone has a short hair dog, and they find a good deal on the VAX or Hoover, I highly recommend it too. Also I sometimes use it in carpet mode on bare floors as it gets up more fine dust. Thanks ?
That vax did an impressive job for a cordless vacuum! I loved the way it was pulling things in before coming into contact with the brush head!
Do you think this is as flimsy as other Vax products?
I have the Hoover version, a very decent stick vacuum. My aunt also has one and loves it.
There is a corded version of this machine that has a 7amp motor instead of 2amps.
I know that the Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away Speed with duoclean has a cord but I does better.
