I have the Shark Ionflex 2x and I love it!
Having said that, be careful what you're buying. Shark makes many, many versions of the vacuums with different accessories and chargers. You can discover as I did that Shark makes things that Shark customer service denies they have. I guess customer service only sees what Shark sells online, and not what they make for Amazon, QVC, HSN, Target, etc. (calling them is totally frustrating. "We don't make that." "But I'm looking at it on Amazon." "Maybe Amazon made it." "It's your video!") Know the model number and learn what you're buying.
I thought I got a better price to discover mine came with two batteries but only a single charger. Shark eventually made it right. I liked the 2x enough to buy a second one for the RV. But I bought a lesser model through e-bay, and saved 65%. The batteries still interchanged so I was happy.
I don't know why the new vacuums are bagless. I'd rather pay for bags than to have to clean out these new vacuums.

Can you do a side by side comparison of all the shark rocket's you have. I'm having a hard time deciding what model to buy out of the rocket series.

It just occured to me. I hope that when you get your new carpeting, you'll find clean things to throw down for big mess tests.

Excellent, we can see how brand new vacs perform in normal use, which is always interesting! And cordless too, I like it. Might have to use my Beko for a month and see how that goes… I think you should use that sack for the reveal every month, it works well! Didn't realise Shark had a comb behind the front roller, that's a good idea in theory, you probably can't test it with 2 long haired women though to see if it copes with long strands…

Exciting. I predict that filter will clog before the end of the month. One of the downsides of Shark. Their filtration system needs work.
I had this idea 2 months ago too. I've got the pros and cons of 2 vacuums so far. The '94 Panasonic MC-5277 and the '13 Garry GL100 vac. Once I get the Hoover and Bee-Vac fixed (my two 1920's era vacuums) I'll have to put on some Danny Kaye and beat, sweep, and clean my house for a month. haha
