Don’t bother fixing this POS. I just replaced mine on Ebay with Tineco Refurbished Pure ONE S12 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner,Powerful Suction. $259 -$25 coupon. Amazing suction, comes with 2 removable batteries that last one hour each. Makes the Electrolux look like a Barbie toy.

How much did the replacement batteries cost?

Can I mail you mine to replace the batteries?

Where can I bring this to have someone replace the batteries?!!!

What a pain in the ass to have to change the batteries. I never would have purchased this! What a rip off!!!

Nifty spotwelder! Certainly helps with the nickel strips: I'm a bit wary of soldering due to the heat required. Was it a good idea to bathe the switches and diodes?

RAUL says:

Very good video. I also changed the batteries, they charge but they don't last more than 20 seconds. What can I do? Thank you.

taucalm says:

Hey, can you use regular soldering iron for soldering or do you need machine like you have?

A Matte says:

ahh… i hoped it was just a pack you could easily replace but with this you need a spot welder or do some jankery and make a external pack for it, do the connections all lead together and the pack is just seperated out or dose the board have multiple connection points?

Where do you get the batteries for EL 2081 vaccum?

Bruno Hudson says:

hello! what kind of solder do i have to use? I only have tin at home to solder electronic components.

İrfan Akca says:

Does the vacuum work smoothly after replacing the battery? Even if you replace the battery, the motherboard locks itself. Do you know the solution?

Shane Tan says:

What took him 9 mins to do might take me 9 hours and at the end to spoil my vacuum … 🙁
