I see them when they're used awhile. The Dyson ball rubber treads tend to fall off the edges of the wheels, because they aren't even glued in place, they are just pressed into grooves in the plastic, and once they fall out, you can't press them back in. Once that happens you need to replace the wheels themselves, for about 75 bucks. The ball type Dysons have about half the suction of the older ones with plain old wheels, and much bigger motors. The ball types have brush rollers that are made (by Intertek, not Dyson of course) in two pieces with a connector between them which easily can be snapped in half if something hard slams into the roller. If that happens, only one half of the roller will spin, and you need a whole new motorized head unit, because no parts are sold separately by Dyson. This will cost you around 125-150, for the whole head unit, but is easy to replace by hand, no tools needed. So that's good, well sort of. Should you grab the handle and lift it roughly the cannister mechanism can snap a plastic tab making it no longer connect to the machine by snapping into place anymore. No worries, just use a bungee cord around the whole machine to hold it in place, and undo the bungee when you want to dump the dirt from the cannister. Ghetto style repair, but does keep the machine in service, just looks sort of odd.
I have a shark… not the model shown and I absolutely HATE it. You almost need a hazmat and n95 mask to empty the bagless system and the filters are another nightmare. Definitely never buying another shark.
I am a bit confused about the miele complete C3, when I search online I get multiple different kinds but can't find the marin.
Can I just purchase any C3 or is there a difference between them? the price is very different ranging from 250 to 455, is it just accessories that are different?
Edit: oh I just clicked the purchase here button, I can't find that model, not even on the official miele website. strange
The Dyson v15 has been nothing but problem for me. I have 3 dogs, I would not recommend if you have pets. It works fine for small messes.
How about reviews for those of us who don't have pets?
There is really no best vacuum as what works for someone may not work for another but for my household I think that my Fantom Fury is great, the company went bankrupt 20+ years ago and is forgotten by anyone but collectors but mine works great

Just bought the Dyson Animal Ball 3. Very similar to the Ball 2 but better. As device for keeping animal hair from getting tangled in the brush.
