Got the Autobot VX because of its compact and sleek design. Takes up so little space on my car! I vacuum my car 2-3 times a day because I am a Lyft driver, and a clean car is the best way to get those tips!
I love, love, love this little dust buster. The suction is outstanding, and the lightweight makes it easy to use. It even vacuumed out embedded dog hairs from the throw blanket at the foot of my bed. Im considering adding I little felt around the bottom of the mouth of the suction end. The plastic can scratch the surface that is being vacuumed, but they all do that.
This Dustbuster is the strongest hand vac I could find. Really has the suction. Eventually the batteries give out and can no longer maintain a charge even on base. They are not replaceable by the user either. But this is a universal problem with everything that has a li-ion battery, so I am not blaming B&D here. Just wish they made the batteries replaceable, instead of wasting a perfectly good vacuum!
The battery life and the suction of this Black & Decker are very good. Its easy to hold and has a small brush for attached that can be folded down for use. The only thing Im not fond of is the filter itself. Seems too small and has to be cleaned after each use.
The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is seriously the best hand vac I have ever used. It actually does what its advertised to do. I tried another major brand of hand vac, and it was terrible. This Bissell blew the other one away. This hand vac works so well, its actually a pleasure to use it (I know; sounds crazy!).
I have three very furry dogs and this Bissell vacuum is awesome at getting up the hair. The suction power is amazing! The battery life is not the best, but 15 minutes is more than enough for me. If you need it to last longer, you are going to have to spend a lot more money for other vacuums!
I bought the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser mainly for the motorized brush tool to vacuum up black cat hair on my couch and bedspread and for picking up small debris on the tile floor. Works great! So much easier than using the sticky lint rollers. Ive had another Bissell vacuum for almost 2 years now, but that did not hold charge too good anymore. Which is expected out of these lithium-ion batteries. The newer one is holding up pretty good so far though!
Just received the Autobot VX and tried once, excellent buy and no regrets so far. Lightweight and good suction power (even with level one). Worth the price. Two things I did not like were:1) it is a bit difficult to push the button for releasing the dust bin, especially if you have long fingernails like I do. 2) the brush is a bit hard to adjust. Overall pretty good though!
