DUDE YOU KNOW THE BRUSH ROLLER IS ONLY FOR CARPETS ON HARD WOOD FLOORS

Warren L says:

Most of your points make no sense. No one would even consider a stick vac if a traditional vac works on stairs or narrow places with obstacles/cables. They wouldn't have designed cordless underpowered stick vacs in the first place were regular vacs superior.

The spinning brush on a stick vac that rotates in a single direction makes it work only when you are using it forward (clearly all stick vacs in your vid left no debris when used correctly)—just look at the shape of its bottom, of course pulling it backward wouldn't work. Lift it up before pulling it back solves all the problems. Tbh you are referring to them as hype simply because you are used to traditional vacs.

You are 100% right about the bag though. It would be perfect if they have stick vacs with disposable bags.

KBB says:

You have just saved me from a big mistake !!

Monique Klassen says:

what r your thoughts on a vacuum that also mops? example, the crosswave?
oh and I really enjoyed this video very informative, lets just say I have no idea what im doing lol

Drone Recon says:

hello, love your review.. can u please tell me what is important when u buy cordless vacuum cleaner? power? filter?

Toni HOWARD says:

Where's the shark duo clean? I have one and it does well on both hard and soft floors, as long as the head is clean. Haven't tried their anti hair wrap one yet, so can't comment on that one. However I'm a cleaner for my job and I love my shark. I have a karcher bagged that I use for cleaning out fireplaces as I have asthma, so makes ash disposal easier

jebril says:

These tests are awful, also the price range of the Henry and Zero G are 500 and 600 plus dollar vacs. It's not even a fair comparison because only the LG is even close in comparison to cost.

And the LG is not the most powerful cordless vac, it's the Dyson V11 by a good margin in its high setting. Granted it can't last very long on that setting.

There is a lot to be said about technique used with a vacuum and what to expect out of a vacuum.

Something like the V11 I feel will be able to easily replace most people's corded vacuum easily for daily use and probably clean better. Of course it's very expensive as well but it's extremely convenient which is the whole point of the thing.

Kay Mack says:

When looking at a cordless vac, I am looking for a daily quick vac, much like sweeping with a broom. I would always have a corded vac for weekly cleaning. It’s just so nice not to fight with a cord. My personal peeves with vacuums are…noise, cord and in the case of a canister vac, getting it to follow you without crashing into walls or your heels.

kenakaren says:

Are you saying cordless vacuums doesn't pick up debris as well as corded vacuums on carpets?

blastman8888 says:

I just remove the roller for our wood floors on the stick vacuum. The motor still turns but increases battery life I put some duct tape over the hole left where you remove the cap slide the roller.

maquel houtz says:

The only thing I disagree with is the lg because I have it and it came with a soft roll head for hardwood that does amazing!

comk135 says:

I totally agree with your view, and in fact I see canister vacuum as having much better maneuverability than a stick or an upright vacuum. I've actually been looking for, and asking manufacturers for a cordless canister vacuum on the market. It should not be a difficult change to utilize the current mini body design from a stick vacuum and transform that into a canister vacuum. This will significantly reduce the weight on the hand back to similar to the weight of holding the wand of a canister vacuum. A motorized floor brush is in fact needed for a vacuum to dig up dirt from carpet.

Matt Brown says:

It sounded like you didn’t fully clean out the ZeroG lines after you washed it.. before it hit the ground you could hear all the bits of dirt going through the lines and then nothing once you hit the carpet.. just an observation and food for thought

Sherry says:

Use a darker litter.

bionicangel123 says:

My brother in-law ordered a cordless stick vacuum off amazon and it does alright on low pile carpet. I wasn’t impressed, it sounds under powered, feels underpowered and even worse performs even less I have a 15 dollar bagged canister vacuum that has a hard floor tool that does a much better job. Not sure how we’ll it’s actually cleaning my rug though

Magical Melody says:

I don’t agree with this at all. If you use the soft roller on hard floor it does great with hard floor. I have a tineco a11 master snd almost never have to pull out my corded vacuum it does so well

azrey evans says:

I would dispose the dust into a grocery bag instead of directly into the bin.

Jesus Aguilar says:

Seeing the Hoover Air brought back memories of the one I owned. I loved it since it was cheap at Costco compared to the other vacuums, I was living in a one bedroom apartment which did the job for what it was. I had a glass table and one day with strong winds and the window open, the standing lamp fell on the table and broke the glass table in pieces. I was surprised that the vacuum picked up the remaining tiny pieces that were left in the carpet.

Jason K says:

This has been helpful. Any recommendations for a cordless non-spinning brush vacuum for quick daily pickup of food pieces in kitchen area on tile and for kitty litter on laminate? We use a Beam central vac as primary for weekly deep cleaning. Had a cheap $20 Bissell corded that we used for this purpose but just died and want something better, and cordless.

Christie Borchin says:

Thanks for the 4-1-1. I'm honestly looking for a stick vaccum for the stairs….! What would you recommend? It's tough lugging a standard vaccum up/down the stairs

Nicolas Masset says:

Hi there, thanks for the content! Never realized larger wheels are better to push vacuums, so obvious! Quick question, You said you reviewed the Miele triflex but it seemed you were a Miele representative yourself on that video? Could and would you give an opinion on the Miele vs the V11 or these others? Does the Miele spit all the crap out again as much as these? Which would you pick? Cheers!
