The vacuum cannot get the dust off the skirting boards around the bottom of the wall. So you do need a broom or long handled duster if you dont want to bend down to wipe the dust off with a dusting cloth.
First get you a good straw broom they are so much more efficient…. second brooms imo are better on carpet…. but i also live in an apartment so sweeping isn't back breaking work
Sweep with a broom first then vacuum. Also a plus to brooms is that you can clean quietly between the late night-early morning hours without pissing people off. ๐
Everything will do a bad job if you use it wrong… you were not sweeping with the broom, you were throwing it around making the trash fly away on purpose
I can't use a vacuum cleaner cause i have to much furniture to move around. I do vacuum my furniture having cats. I have hardwood floors and use a broom with a cover. I use a damp mop on my baseboards when i do a good cleaning. This video is getting me in the mood to clean my house. ๐

I just got a shark vac mop and it is fantastic. I would still use the broom for bigger messes though

Nothing secret about that..thats normal sweeping..
I love my swiffer with the dry clothes, i sweep first, use the swiffer dry clothes to get any dust missed and then mop
