Why do you all testers try to pick up large particles like cheerios with regular roller heads? Common sense says when you spill lots of cheerios, use no attachment but the tube only. The scenarios are so out it's hard to believe. The same with wet vacuums. If i spill honey, i first use paper towel, then start mopping, because if i use any mop – a traditional one or electric one – i styl end up having to wash properly the mop rollers/pad. Home vacuum cleaners aren supposed to clean regular mess, dust here and there etc. Meanwhile you test them spilling and rubbing into carpet huge amount of rubbish and are surprised the vacuums don't deal with them. They're not supposed to. Vacuum cleaner manufacturers design them with normal users in mind, not freaks who live in mess.
Great explanation of all the differences. Super easy to understand
