Thing I don't understand about this system, the point of it self-emptying is that you don't have to get the fine dust/debris back into the air. But if this still just self-empties into another bag-less container, then I don't see the point. The dust/debris still ends up back into the air after emptying the dustbin in the base. In my opinion, these auto empty systems should use bags.
Man does not have the button on the side with the trashcan picture
I know it’s not cheap but the mismatched colors of this device make it look so.
is the hepa filter washable on the base station and vacuum
Unless I missed it, I didn't see where you demonstrated how to manually empty the dust cup. I just got mine out of the box, haven't used it yet, but can't figure out how you get the dust cup door to open
I don't think you mentioned the 5yr warranty that it comes with buying directly from the Shark website…
I cannot f d instructions on attaching the pet hair/power brush to my shark power detector accessory wand..
I have had a LOT of trouble with the vacuum jamming up when I hit rugs. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution. Eco mode seems to happen less but I still have to power off and back on several times
Just A Dad, in using this on carpet it will sometimes get super loud (louder than normal) and get a little hot. Have you experienced this? Wasn’t sure if it getting louder than normal on carpet was normal. Thank you! Great video
Don't buy this crap. It does not have real filtration which means that by vacuuming you will gradually lose power. Can't use it up etc.
In your opinion what mode is the best mode to use
How does the filter look after use? is it very dirty? Because in dyson it is almost clean …
It has the exact same issue as the previous model I currently own. That stupid piece of plastic that deflects dirt gets dust stuck inside it and you can't get it out or remove the part.
Mine is blue sold at Walmart. Is it a lower tier like the Detect Pro sold at Wal-Mart. Just saw your other video mentioning a difference between those two.
Would you recommend this over the Stratos though??
Can anyone let me know which vacuum they think is better between this and the cordless detect pro. Both are on sale, and I’m trying to decide. I only have hard floor, and rugs. No carpet. Also curious if it charges the whole time
It’s on the base or it shuts off when done charging bc I know prolonged charging usually damages batteries. Any info would be great. I was leaning towards detect pro but then seen this one was new. Help haha!
Poor accessories again and the fact you can’t take the head roller out definitely put me off thanks I won’t be buying
Meanwhile Dyson vacuum is twice the price with lack of features
Thank you for reviewing. Seems to be good vacuum..terrible naming convention. 'clean & empty' used in various models ' name. I got confused with this model and BU3521. Wish they have a more systematic name to let people know what is entry/medium/advance vacuum system.
Is that the only way to charge it or can it just be plugged in without the other canister?
To me it looks like the vacuum dyson should have made
Was the previous version [Detect aProIW3511, I think] , 21.6 volt also? Nice to see that Shark doesn’t have that fin thingy that debris, esp dog hairs would get stuck. I wish that Shark would allow us free trade. I must have the 1st or 2nd generation model.
The uk version of the self empty version powerdetect, is trash! It doesn’t have a cyclone.
Good video. Would like to know what you think between this one and the Detect Pro IW3511 i think
Kinda gimmicky tbh more things to break
