Did they discontinue this model? I can't find new ones for sale any more, just refurbished ones. If so I'm kinda pissed. It was my favorite model of theirs. Rockets are too weak, and Uprights are too clunky. This one was the perfect mid-point between the two styles.

I have one of these and it is the worst vaccum I have ever owned. I actually asked Shark to replace it with a less expensive standard model and they were 100% unhelpful and would not help as the machine is a pain to use but not “broken” so the warranty was not useful. It worked well for the first few weeks but with use quickly fell apart and began to give me issues. First off it overheats and blows very warm exhaust air all the time. The base is impossible to detach without using a ton of force and the top breakaway portion is also really hard to do. The hose doesnt like to click back into position and is so stiff and inflexible that its hard to easily use. The filter cover falls off, the attachments stick out and get caught on everything, and the soft roller pops off of the base when in use, the top cannot be detached without the entire length of the cord being unwrapped so quick jobs are pointless unless your using the full stick and head together. The suction was ok but nothing spectacular and it quickly lost power after a few weeks of use. i informed shark that this was my 3rd shark i had purchased and that i hated the design and wanted to exchange it somehow (i bought it from a place that doesn’t do returns) and like i said they wouldnt do anything to help so I informed them that was the third and final shark i would be buying. I replaced it with a bissell turbo pro pet rewind and its much much more effective and easy to use … this shark os headed for a good bath and onto Ebay so i can rid my house of it. Worst 200 I ever spent, i really regret buying it, it os a horrible vaccum.
