Sounds good for a dyson but I can't bring myself to pay so much much more. I'll be buying the far cheaper shark, as its just a vacuum.
Feels like Dyson paid the review 😂
Um why is a 250 pounds shark being compared to a 650 pounds dyson v11 lol.
The Shark you have should be compared to v7 which is the dyson that falls within the same bracket. Even a comparison to v8 is unfair let alone v11 (you joker).
I will never have a shark, Dyson all the way!
Would it be possible for you to test and see what the cut point is on sharks cyclones in the hand held? I’m curious to see if it is even able to have “no loss of suction” with even sand or grit.
I found a shark rotator pro (non duoclean) in the trash and took it home. Filters were completely blocked and the brush roll would not spin. Fixed the brush roll with a new micro switch for 4 dollars and washed the filters. First use and it was not terrible like a 40 dollar vacuum but no way would I be happy paying 280 dollars for it. I decided to compare it to my Dyson cinetic big ball (also found in the trash) and the Dyson completely blew its socks off when picking up micro sponge dust. I decided to take it to the vet clinic where I work and have them use it there. The only redeeming factor I can see at all about sharks is at least they seem to be a sealed system with a HEPA filter.
This video is 1 month old and reliastic prices are more like 150-250 pounds. Do a comparison of those prices. V11 is twice the price of the most expensive shark I can find. You’re going off prices of sharks website and not Independant sellers.
This guy is pr from Dyson or Dyson’s sponsored.
I wish we had the dyson products currently sold in Korea
Dumping bins into the trash bin is funny. If you have a wider bin and not as deep the Dyson wouldn't be ideal for dumping.
Onboard tools add extra weight to the vacuum. Extra weight makes it harder to use.
How did Dyson do with their lawsuits with shark?
Does Dyson have a flaw? Do you swallow when done consuming sir Dyson's balls?
Another great video like all your videos I also like this guy though you should check out one of thiese vacuums and compaire to the Dyson upright https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aYPBQ6304Zc
Great video! I particularly agree about the headlights. I find them EXTREMELY cheesy and tacky other than just being useless and a straight up waste of battery on a already underpowered product.
There is something that I have a slight bit of curiosity about, and perhaps a video idea as well to talk about as a topic. I recently looked at a YouTuber who has very dense carpets that are incredibly hard to vacuum. In order for their dyson v11 torque drive and outsize to work on it they both had to be on the eco setting. However other vacuums worked perfectly fine and the YouTuber boasted on how much better the other vacuums are at cleaning more difficult carpets and that if they were better cleaners in general because of it. I could argue that the v11 could out-perform those machines in eco mode, but I digress. A lot of people seem to think that because the dyson didn't cope with their long pile/deep pile or dense pile carpets and they had to lower the power setting which means that they aren't getting a good clean with their v11 and that they should get something else, or that the v11 isn't "strong" or "powerful" enough for those carpets.
This is a propaganda problem that dyson have had for years now. A lot of the people that I see that go against the dyson brand or return their vacuums to dyson complain that "It couldn't cope with my deep pile carpet". I would just like someone to show and prove that the dyson they got was the right move and that even though they couldn't vacuum it in the highest setting, they are still getting the best clean that they possibly can even compared to the other vacuums that "worked" on their carpet. That even though they aren't using the full power of their dyson, they don't need to and that they are still getting the best vacuum they possibly can for their shaggy or dense carpet. Proof that I'm either right or wrong would be greatly appreciated, since I've looked around and sort of found people talk about it but never fully address it and thus never answer all my questions to where I can call the answer "solid".
P.S. It is hard to communicate my frustration and hope that you understand what I'm getting at.
A good product doesn’t need gimmicks to sell , bad products do
Um is Henry better then shark then ?
What's your opinion of Miele's bagless cannister, the Blizzard CX1?
Just because you have a light switched on in a room, does not mean you can see all the dirt in front of you. Your vision must be beyond 20/20. Condensing comment there IMO. I would find it more satisfying to see the dirt better as it’s hopefully hoovered up. Is it worth the demands on the battery, now that is another question, for the end user.
100% disagree about the headlights. when getting under furniture, especially on hard floors it allows you to see dirt that you wouldn’t be able to see. Also, it’s great for bathrooms – turn off the light and you’ll be amazed at all the hair and stuff you’ve missed on the floor when vacuuming with the lights on.
I’m going to be honest, overall your video sounds like you just really hate shark. Of course it doesn’t perform as well as a dyson that costs like $500 more. It’s about perspective, and that my friend, is something you don’t seem to have.
your review is so informative and well put together. i never thought about sharks duo clean head not being able to clean carpet properly right up to the edge due to its clunky size! thank you.
That Shark looks so bulky compared to the Dyson
9:35 I wonder why Dyson don't sell that light up crevice tool in the UK
