The Sebo Felix 1 is actually a 3 in 1 vacuum. It has its standard upright mode, and although the regular mode is great with hard floors as we will see, you can also change the power head to the included parquet tool which is specifically designed for hard floors.
You can also push the adjustable handle down, disconnect the powerhead and use it as a handheld canister vacuum with the attachments.
The cleaner head has a button that turns off the brush roll for better hard floor performance.
It has an adjustable suction switch, a 4 level height adjustment on the cleaner head, a full bag or clog indicator, as well as lights on the cleaner head that tell you if you have an incorrect height adjustment or if there is a blockage.
Its filtration is great, it is a sealed system which is rare though the filters are so called hospital grade, not HEPA filters, there is a second filter which is actually the colorful exterior fabric, which also helps reduce noise making it unusually quiet.
Its brushroll was able to be completely removed for easy cleaning, a feature that I wish every vacuum had, but few do.
The attachments set includes a very high quality upholstery tool, a crevice tool and a onboard holder for the attachments, They offer a suction powered Turbo Tool, which I would recommend buying separately for reasons I will discuss later.
But beyond its extremely high build quality, it has big time power, we measured the suction at 69” of water and its airflow at 70 cfm at the cleaner head and an extremely high 99 cfm at the wand. For context we measured Dysons most powerful vacuum the Ball Animal 2 at 74 cfm and the Miele U1 at 67 cfm
Another pro is that in addition to being excellent with debris on carpets including pet hair the Sebo Felix 1 is unusually good at deep cleaning carpets, It seems to have an excellent seal on carpets, which makes the most of its airflow and agitation. Thanks to VacuumTests here on Youtube for coming up with a great way to demonstrate this, what he calls the flour under the carpet test. You can see how much more flour the Sebo Felix picked up compared to the super powerful Shark Apex.
I was also very impressed with its hard floor capability. I have been really disappointed with vacuums like the Miele U1s or the Dyson uprights in that while they can pick up really fine debris they really struggle with larger debris and do not have a way to adjust the height, but with the Sebo Felix did fantastic with everything from fine debris to pet hair, which it really excelled at, and medium to large debris. It did struggle a bit with extra large debris but most vacuums do, and thats why the easily accessible hose is there. I found that the 3rd height setting was high enough to pick up just about anything while still being low enough to have good airflow for fine debris on hard floors.
I also liked that it was small enough to stand perfectly on stairs so that you can use the 5 foot hose with an attachment. Here again This is something you cannont do either with the Dyson Ball Animal 2 or the very bulky Miele.
If you have carpeted stairs I really would suggest buying the optional turbo brush as the upholstery tool is decent for stairs, but not ideal.
The final pro is that it has an extremely good warranty 5 years overall and 7 years on the suction motor.
Alright so lets move on to the Cons.
The Sebo Felix is a very expensive vacuum, and while you definitely get what you pay for in this case it is a big investment.
I did not care for the parquet brush attachment for several reasons. It uses brushes with a particularly small castle cut, which means it snow plows just about everything including pet hair and small debris. Its even prone to snow plowing fine debris. That being said it does create an unbelievably good seal on hard floors, in fact it was one of the best perfomances I have ever seen on the crevice pickup test so it would be great for picking up debris in the crevices and cracks of wood floors or tile.

You should review X series. That what would interesting to see..
NOTICE he did no filtration test?! He was obviously sponsored to do this video. Do a fog test with this machine and it will pump out the fog as quick as it comes in. SEBO Felix has awful filtration.
Why for the hard floos is better the roll switch off?? (0:50)
awesome review but you didn't show the fog coming right through the thing which you did in another vid. if i'm spending 700-800 on a vac, I want no fog escaping
So what do you think about comparing sebo and the kirby on deep cleaning?
Nazi germany
Also check out his channel he has weird vids (do not sub)

Can I ask your personal opinion on this vid pin this comment if you read this ( he thinks this is normal use of a vacuum)
https://youtu.be/HlxHfptMAww
Test out their Sebo X4 or X5.
I'm surprised to see that you completely skip over canister vacuums on your channel which are the best vacuums for mixed hard flooring and carpet homes. Just seemed odd to me for a vacuum channel to not cover 50% off the market
I would agree, the Sebo Felix is a good vacuum, & a better choice than most other bagged uprights. However, there are some flaws that make it unacceptable to me. The "S Class" filtration system that Sebo claims filters as well as sealed HEPA vacuums is definitely flawed & nowhere near as good as a sealed HEPA vacuum. Put a particle counter on it while it's running & watch it fail miserably. The bags & filters are pricy & poor quality – Sebo's bags are only 3 ply HEPA Cloth material, whereas Miele's bags are 9 ply & you can fill them 3/4 full before you notice any loss of suction/airflow. Sebo's bags will clog much faster, just like any other HEPA Cloth bag does, & the worst part is bag cost for both brands is comparable. In addition, the bag chamber is poorly designed so as to not allow maximum airflow. Where's the dusting brush & extension wand? Inexcusable for a vacuum in it's price point to not have them standard. The powerhead has no headlight, nor do they make a optional powerhead that has one. The vacuum is very tippy when using tools, to the point you had better have one hand on the cleaner when using the tools, & it's big & bulky when converting it to use as a portable canister.
Don't get me wrong, it is a nice vacuum. But for my money, I would much rather take the Kenmore Elite you reviewed ANY DAY over the Sebo Felix.
I'm glad to see your reviewing something other than cheap Chinese made vacuums
My Felix is ten years old and cleans like it did the day I bought it. I love it!
Do you think Sebo will back their warranty if used for commercial purposes?
For better hard floor pick keep the brush roll on and set it to 1
I've had my black Sebo Felix for just under a year and have only used it about 6 times. I really don't like the machine for some reason. It's very well made but it does snow plow items on hard surfaces unless you remember to adjust the height. The short on-board hose is a joke and makes dusting and cleaning furniture a challenge. I keep meaning to put it on Ebay!
Can you review and electolux vacuum?
Really great videos! Lots of good information. I'm curious as to which vacuum you would recommend for a house with all floor types. Low and high pile carpeting, laminate and hardwood. We are looking at the Sebo Felix or a Dyson V10. Thanks
I love your videos! You get straight to the facts and are concise. Thanks.
You can EASILY remove the front brush from the parquet floor head, leaving the rear brush on- this way NO PLOWING!
Thanks for the review! My dyson and shark stick vac both broke within a couple of weeks of each other. I decided I wanted to go back to bagged as I’m soo sick of dust and having to get gross crap out of the dyson when it crammed up in the filter. Ew. 🤢😝
TBH I never heard of this brand until I went to my local vacuum and sewing store.
I mentioned my top 5 must haves: easy to clean off human hair, has to suck up cat litter, has to be able to pick up at least a couple of goldfish crackers ( my dyson couldn’t ) , get cat hair, and the bad MUST be easy to change.oh, and allergy would be 👍🏻
He immediately brought me to to this Felix and I got to play with it. I want a couple of days to think about it – it’s not cheap… but I think it’s going to come home with me soon. Especially after your fantastic review.
Is the bag really super easy to change? I ruined an ole Hoover when I didn’t have the bag on correctly and made a mess inside….
The parquet floor tool does have the ability to remove the front or rear brushes. I removed my front brush and have no issues with snow plowing. The Felix is one of my favorite vacuums. You should review the Sebo Disco attachment for the Felix. I like your channel, keep up the good work!
Great review: quickly addressed all the important points. Looking at this model Sebo now, thanks!
