Any chance of seeing one pick up cat litter on hard surface? My mother and myself have multiple and the litter is a big problem.

Thanks for your demonstration. I just returned mine (the Ryobi P718k) though because the bin does not empty much out due to the filter catching everything in its paper fins and gathering all the dust and hair and debris on the top of the filter. It needs a pre-filter and a better method of distributing the dirt and dust inside the bin. I do not want to have to bang out the filter each and every time. It should not be that clumsy, I agree.
If the filter is improved I will probably consider repurchasing to retry it. The P3240 3-gal wet/dry is a different style of vacuum but it has more suction power. I ran a head to head test and was surprised. The Ryobi P3240 is a wonderful vacuum and I highly recommend it.
