Ryobi One+ 18V 3 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum Review

Home Depot: https://homedepot.sjv.io/yPQbW

The P3240 offers cordless convenience with great portability. It’s got good power for an 18V tool, but has some design features I don’t like.

The 6 gal actually has a shorter runtime and is not brushless, but it is noticeably more powerful. Its attachment holders are also better, although due to being elastic, may not hold up in the long term. Time will tell.

Geoff Beers says:

Picked this up (bare tool) today for $59

Great review mate! Hi from Australia 👍

kevin ohara says:

I love the vac but it does hammer the batts the tools get lost before you know it might get round to fitting them inside but will have to make sure they don't get thrown away with the dust

tubeyourself says:

Do they make a brush attachment? Usually great for getting heavy dust off of things…

tubeyourself says:

Looks like it really sucks 🤣🤷‍♂️

CAHG says:

The convenience of cordless but the power of corded is what I’m looking for-this unit seems to be a good compromise.

Efrain Martinez says:

The normal one plus battery will not work. But other than that, it works great.

Jay says:

They really screwed up on this one. They should have made it hybrid with an AC plug like the stereo for example. Very dissapointing since all I hear and read is very short runtimes.

[STARVE THE BEAST] says:

I ordered mine yesterday. Hope I'm not too disappointed.

Ashish M says:

Your reviews are the absolute best. You are a very smart dude. Cheers!

Tony Oostenbrink says:

"on board storage" 'utility nozzle" "crevice tool" – you earned yourself a sub

Walton Craghead says:

Thumbs up from me.?

Stephen says:

I got this for my mobile detailing gig. I honestly didn’t look too hard into other brands, it just seemed like a good system to buy into.

It’s definitely not the strongest vacuum but for those parking lot jobs it gets the job done.

No 💩Roybi 0v🔥💥🔋🔋🔋🔥

jmbeekeeper says:

Height is the thing I look at in equipment. Wondering if it will store under the bunk in a semi tractor. Trucker storage is always complicated . This looks like it may fit .that's why I have a 18 Volt ryobi 90 mph leaf blower slow at sweeping the reefer trailer out ,but easy to store in a semi tractor. Thank for the video !

S P says:

Dam… just bought and I don’t have any high capacity batteries… gonna have to buy on specifically for this lol… but I’m sure they won’t go to waste.

Jared Sparr says:

Good power🌼 Very close to a small corded vac. Eats batteries fast, but, that explains the power. Overall a very good little vac, best cordless option, the little handheld ones are useless.

Fraser Henderson says:

My vac, purchased Jan 2021, has a 2 point upper/lower mount for the utility nozzle. They watched your video.
The problem in the utility nozzle occurs at the extreme rear "bottom" of the nozzle where the hose opening intersects the nozzle volume, forming a sharply angled shelf, seemingly intended to catch incoming debris (wood shavings!). Poor design Ryobi! This "caught" material will not dislodge in normal use and will impede further passage of incoming material. I cut the back off the nozzle and filled the shelf area, the trap, with silicone sealant. I reattached the nozzle back with a 350 degree hot glue gun (Ryobi one +). There is still a choke point at the hose inlet but blockage is much reduced, wood shavings no problem.
My problem solved, this is a workhorse and very convenient. Portability is excellent! I used the previous Ryobi 18V vac for around 20 years and gave it hell. It finally died owing me not a cent. I feel this new one is better in every respect and more than satisfactory.
