If you’re watching this, I assume you’re looking for a nice cordless vacuum cleaner, but you don’t want to spend 500 dollars on a Dyson.
The Rowenta Delta Force may be for you, but it’s important to know the pros and cons. Let’s start with the cons.
The major downside of this unit is the lack of a hose attachment. In other words, you’re stuck using it as an upright. If you want to clean out your car you’re out of luck. On the other hand, its native form factor seems to work well on stairs.
Another downside would be the charger, which takes a solid day to fully charge. I’m used to charging my drill battery or cell phone in under an hour, but honestly this has never been much of an annoyance with the Delta Force.
I can vacuum my 2 bedroom townhouse in one charge, with plenty of battery to spare. Sometimes, we don’t charge it for over a week, and keep vacuuming over and over until it runs out. That’s really the only time I wished it charged faster.
On the upside, this unit is very effective. We have about 1000 square feet of carpet, plus a dog, and the Delta Force is our only vacuum. Although it’s not quite as powerful as the plug-in upright it replaced, we vacuum more often since it’s so easy and convenient.
The Delta Force has a spinning mode for carpet, and a lower power mode for hard floors. I generally just put it on full blast no matter what, but the low power mode does work if you’re just vacuuming dust.
The Delta Force is notably good at getting into corners. The unique 45 degree angled head is actually very effective, and the lack of a hose attachment doesn’t prevent it from getting into corners at all.
Another great feature is the dust container, which is extremely easy to remove and replace. You won’t need to change any filters either, as all of the parts are easily washable. Just make sure you dry them off fully before reinstalling them.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Rowenta Delta force. It performs well, holds a good charge, and even impresses some of our visitors, some of which have bought the same vacuum.
