ROIDMI X20 (NEX) – Handheld vacuum cleaner – Review [Xiaomify]

The Roidmi X20 (or Roidmi NEX) is a much-requested vacuum cleaner for me to review and it’s here!
Find the Roidmi X20 (next) on AliExpress: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_bl9BDL
BangGood: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/KKmDUEsGBC
Roidmi on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3coDgEv

The Roidmi is a very powerful and very nice looking handheld vacuum cleaner that comes with a mopping system and it has Bluetooth. It’s quite lightweight and has a pretty convenient handle making it nice to use.

On its normal vacuum strength, it has little over 60 minutes of cleaning time but this gets cut down to 35 minutes on the second vacuum speed and around 15 minutes on the highest setting. -Typically you don’t really need this high strength as the default suction strength is really quite good. On its regular strength, the battery should be good for cleaning a 450 m² on a single charge; which is really quite impressive.

Its suction strength goes all the way up to 145.000 AirWatts (25.000PA) with its pretty impressive 120.000 RPM brushless motor. These are all just numbers that, in daily life, result in a very high suction strength.

The Roidmi comes with a tonne of accessories including a replacement HEPA filter and a second mop which is a nice touch. The amount of attachments is also very satisfying as it comes with all you need, including a floor roller brush, a bed (mite) brush, a soft brush and flexible crevice nozzle.

Overall the Roidmi performs very well. Its dust bin might be a little bit small (being 0.4L) but for me, this is actually enough to do my whole apartment. Its Bluetooth functionality might be a little bit of a gimmick, but it could come in handy for installing any possible firmware updates. Other functions of the Bluetooth allow you to monitor the battery levels and the filter status (based on the number of hours it’s used) which are not really that practical to monitor when vacuuming the floor.

Is this the predecessor or successor to the F8?

I was in the market for either a Dyson v10 or v11, but then I discovered the Xiaomi Dreame v10 and was sold on that. Then this video shows up.. What would you advice? Is the Dreame good enough at its super affordable price (220 Euros vs almost double: 400+ for the NEX)

Umar says:

The Xiaomi dreame v9P (P Stands for pro is even better than this one if you need a classic handheld Vacuum cleaner without all this a lot of stuff which one may need to use not so often. It is classic so it doesn't include in mihome app, neither a Bluetooth but it does a very good job better than Dyson V11 Pro.

Bihari Kristóf says:

Is the floor brush self-powered? I'm guessing it is, because it also has power to the LEDs.

Bihari Kristóf says:

It sucks well, so/but it doesn't suck much.

jakegoodboyy says:

They should include a better wall mount that can hang all of the brushes in the same place.

Bought this Vaccum cleaner after this review, was not disappointed. Thanks for the great review.

Jollystr says:

As I'm writing this comment, this product is on sale in the Xiaomi Youpin app, for 245 USD. But if you don't live in China, this product probably makes no sense to you, it's too expensive. Add a few Euros more, and you can get a dyson..

I have one from die indigogo campain…its my first battery powered vaccuum cleaner. I'm not impressed with the suction, on low the vacuum can barely pick up small gravel pieces. On high it can, but the battery lasts around 5 minutes max, with the vacuum throttling down automatically. the plastic they used for connecting the parts is too soft, it scratches a lot. The dustbin is not see-through anymore after 20 uses, because the plastic scratches fast. The vacuum cleaner has problems with rough natural stone floors, cleaning can only be done on high.

Other than that its convenient, does its job. But it is in no way a replacement for the cable-powered vacuum. And for that, its too expensive. A price around 170$ would be more adequate

Benjamin Bayeul says:

Looks like it's only 299$ on Amazon, but without the mop??

Yes. Another vacuum cleaner! This one was requested quite a lot and it's finally here. What do you guys think of the Roidmi X20 (NEX)?
I am working on a few other videos including some pretty cool smart home products and.. another one of those much-requested vacuum cleaners! I'm also aware that Xiaomi will launch YET another phone this week (in China) and I will try to get my hands on this one ASAP!
