Well its been 10 months since I bought my Roborock S5, we at vacuum wars have put it though all kinds of tests during that time and compared it with lots of other robot vacuums including all the other roborock robot vacuums. But in this video I want to talk about how it holds up after all that time, and if its still worth it in late 2019. I also went through a ton of online reviews as well as the Facebook groups of roborock owners to see if there were any deal breakers or problems that show up over that amount of time.

Hello, I need your suggestions please.
I live in the country side, and I have a lot of dust and spiderwebs everywhere! Besides I have 4 Westies dogs, white hair everywhere, and I have 80% carpet in my home.
My question is if you know between the “Riccar Radiance R49P”, and the “Riccar New R25 Pet premium” which’s is better!
Or can you suggest me what kind of vacuum will be better for my needs?

Which would be your choice if you could buy the Roborock S5 for $360 or the Neato D7 for $399? I currently have the S5 and a D7 will be here tomorrow for me to compare them.
Is there a way to turn of the brushes when it goes over rugs?
How about Xiaomi Viomi V2? Mopping looks really good (important feature for me) but almost no useful reviews in internet.
Owner of S5 for one year now. Very happy with it. Had one break down. Thats the laser motor problem. Thanks to youtube, it was easy to disassemble it and fix was easy – power up from 9V battery and that was enough to make it work again.

Glad to see you've incorporated my (and others I'm sure) suggestion to include reliability as a major aspect to consider before plunking down your money for a vac.
So, your review shows that the "Cons" consist of exactly one: an average capacity dustbin. Best or near-best in every meaningful category: navigation, cleaning, battery life, mapping, no-go lines and RELIABILITY. Please do a serious comparo of any Roborock with the self emptying models from Shark and Roomba. Whatever one thinks of this feature (which I agree would be great to have) the rest of the issues these vacs have, along with the PRICE, negate this advantage completely.
I love my S5. A month ago I bought the S4, S5, Shark IQ, and the iRobot S9 plus. I wanted to see for myself which one I liked better. S9 plus worked great but no vacuum is with $1500 (with tax). Shark IQ could be #1 if they fix the software, LOVED the S4 but it had trouble climbing a threshold, LOVE the S5 so that’s the one I kept.. Dust bin is a little small but with my cat and vacuuming twice a day I still only empty it when I remember which is maybe every 5 days or so. The suction is strong so it compacts the cat hair
I like to buy one S55. But i was searching and find one from brand called Ikohs model LS23 Endurance. The specs are very similar But lower price. This is a Spannish company. Do You know anything a out This brand?
Surprise – a post on Thanksgiving. Thank you. And on a topic near to my heart, Roborock. I concur with all the pros of this little guy. It's satisfying to observe the smart navigation and it really does finish faster than the other robots. Yes, the bin is a bit small which seems a good point in favor of the S4. And it is a little loud on high power. You (VW) should consider stating how quickly (or not) vacuums can create maps if moved around. RR does it in a run or two. Shark – maybe it will make a map in 30 runs.

I heard that you can use sidebrush and the main brush from the S6 interchangeably. Anyone know about this? is it worth it to use new versions when the time comes to replace it?

I’ll still take my neato vacs over these any day but I will say that the Roborock is the only other vacuum in this price range that is just as good.
Your reviews are amazing! The tech insight is spot on! I bought a Roborock S5 6 Months ago and it is still going great! My father bought a 360 s5 as it is cheaper but has similar performance to Robo. Would be great if you could review a 360 S5 one day.
