After testing the Roborock S5 Max for a little over a week and a half, I can find very little NOT to like about it. Its the best robot vacuum yet from Roborock in my opinion, and its one of the best robot vacuum / mop combos out there.

Got the S5 on sale from amazon over the holiday for only $340. I love it so far and I haven't busted out the manual vacuum or mop since. I still think the price is going to steer most people back to the original S5.

I think the price is the only con so far. I got my regular S5 with $360 on Black Friday. The new S5 max costs $599.
Any robot vacuum+mop combo out there that also self/empties?
Hey guys questions: How bing is the water tank, do you use only pure water or can you use solution? Any idea of price on the mopping attachment / roughly how often do you ened to change it?
Well… I just got the s5 a few weeks ago because you loved it so much. And now a new one… O well the s5 does a great job.
I have tested the Old lady robot vacuum and find it to be far superior, although also on the pricey side!
S5 beta firmware add new features like on video select rooms etc.
Can you add soap or something to the mopping feature? Otherwise it is just water which cleans optical stains away but not really cleansing the floor, isn't it?

New to your channel. Do you have any videos or do you plan on releasing any where you test longevity of these very, very expensive vacuums? I like the convenience they provide but price is a big, big deterrent. Thanks
After getting the roomba i7+ id never buy another robot vacuum without an automatic clean base.

4:31 the S5 will also get the room select feature and multiple map support very soon. The new firmware is in beta right now (one can install it via the FloleVac app). It works great.
Please test thicker carpet on your robot vacuums.
I love that vacuums nearly mastered navigation and picking abilities, that opens room for adding new features instead of just upgrading mentioned things. Hopefully we will see more dockings stations that transfer dust or maybe even docking station for mopping robot?
I have lots of hard floor that could be mopped but I think that with so much space robot would have to change mop during cleanup, have steam cleaning abilities (although that battery would be huge then) or maybe a water changing system like that discontinued iRobot Scooba but with same tank integrated into docking station (5l or so, used water could be dumped beneath robot into docking station tank and fresh water would be added to the robot through the top)

I have the Roborock E30 and I love it. It's almost flawless. Picks up everything, goes in an up and down pattern, edge cleans, maneuvers around all the furniture and little things in the floor. I couldn't imagine how good the high end models would do
Other than price, how would you compare this to the ecovacs Deebot ozmo 960? I have all hard tile floors with some area rugs and mainly need to pick up dust and some animal hairs.. I have 2 hairless dogs so not much hair…lol.

Do you buy the robots yourself anonymous, or do you get them sponsored? Are you afiliated/sponsored or anything like that, with any shop or brand?
I really don't understand why they have to include that shitty mopping thing.
They should make a dedicated robot for that, that actually MOPS the floor, not just scoots around. It's actually just driving around and spreading the dirt. Have a look at Narwale or something like that brand, they seem to be working on an actual mop.
@Vaccum Wars, you don't seem to be criticizing features like that. Why is that? What are your beliefs on the mopping feature? Not just in your very small test area, but as an actual mopping robot, where you'll use it every other/day, in a real enviroment?
