We recently purchased Dyson V8 Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner for 32000 Rs (Price keeps changing). We received extra cleaning kit because of offer.

As we were very skeptical about this purchase, we wanted to find out if it is worth the price. So we tried every tool and capture the video of same.

NOTE: This is DRY Vacuum cleaner, can not use for wet mopping

Product Quality:
– Build, finish & plastic quality is awesome looks very sturdy
– Easy to fit attachments, makes it very user friendly
– Very important point, dyson gives 2-year warranty

Usefulness:
– Its soft rolling brush (used at start of the video) does significant job of floor (tiles) cleaning. It collects the dust in micron which will make your floor smooth. For us it was way better than Maid sweeping the floor and even better than wet mopping
– Main question arises, how much time it will take to clean the floor? In the beginning it will take more time, once you get familiar with the product, it will take 30% more time than sweeping with groom. For example, if time required to sweep the floor is 10 Min then with dyson you will required 15 – 20 Mins. But it will not cause you any fatigue as you don’t have to bend and sound of machine is not irritating
– Second best use, is for cleaning the Fan. You don’t need to climb on any mountain to clean your fan. You can clean it from the floor. Refer video.
– Very useful for cleaning of window net, window channels, mattress (which you cannot wash in lifetime), laptop, sofa, wardrobe, kitchen trolleys and many more..
– If you have artificial lawn in your balcony then having dyson is must as no other vacuum cleaner can clean like dyson. With the rotating brush it pulls out the dust, hairs & debris from the grass and collect it in bin
– If you have pet then its very useful
– Dyson has HEPA filter which filters out dust particles in micron and exhausts clean air only. In other vacuum cleaners, air gets out without much filtration, which might be unhealthy

Suction Power:
– Dyson V8 comes with two modes. Normal & Boost mode
– In 8 months use, i have used dyson on Normal mode for 99% of time. Normal mode is sufficient and boost mode is like beast it can suck your sofa as well…just kidding..

Advantage of cordless:
– Yes, it is very helpful to have cordless vacuum cleaner, it changes whole experience of cleaning. You can reach anywhere without worrying of wire/plug
– Reduces the fatigue and you will enjoy the cleaning
Battery Backup & charging:
– Most critical part, right? Dyson can last upto 40 Mins, depends upon the tool you are using. If you are using motorized tools (Like Soft Rolling brush) then you might get 30 – 40 Mins, but don’t worry It will be enough for 900 Sq. Ft. home
– Dyson will take around 4 hours to fully charge. Don’t think like its your phone, install the charging dock, which comes with accessories and you don’t have to On/Off the switch. Once you are done with cleaning, put the dyson in charging dock it will charge and turns off automatically
– Battery technology avoids overcharging, hence you can keep the switch always ON

Service:
– There service is really great, if you have any doubt/issue just ping them on what’s up, set the video appointment and you are done

Conclusion:
– If you want proper, complete cleaning of each and every part of home hassle-free/ effortlessly, if you get irritated by normal vacuum cleaner noise, then you can go for dyson. If you have artificial grass then I think it is must to have dyson
– Dyson has different version such as V11, if you have budget then you can go for it, but I think V8 Absolute is value for money product
– After the use of 8 months, I think its reliable product with good customer service. Even separate parts are available online, which is very important for long run.
