A well-built cleaning machine! This review is for the U2000RB-1. I’m not sure why people think this thing is so loud. It’s WAY quieter than my 10 year old Eureka. Anyway, this is my first Oreck and I bought it because I’m tired of cheap throw-away crap from the big box stores. No, it doesn’t have a whole lot of features and no, it doesn’t look pretty, but this thing vacuums better than any vacuum I’ve ever owned. GREAT VACUUM for the price Our 30 year old Oreck finally showed sickly signs. THIS replacement really nice job on our few carpets left (now mostly vinyl or stone flooring, which seems a lot easier to just sweep).
