The Model Y’s exterior has been significantly reworked, moving away from its softer, rounded predecessor to a sleeker, more angular design. The front end draws inspiration from the Cybertruck and Cybercab, featuring a full-width light bar that connects slim, aggressive headlights, giving it a futuristic and assertive stance. The bumper has been reshaped with active air slats on the sides to improve aerodynamics, contributing to better efficiency.
Interior Review
Inside, the Model Y Juniper feels like a leap forward, addressing criticisms of the previous model’s spartan and sometimes cheap-feeling cabin. The minimalist ethos remains, but it’s now executed with a premium edge, borrowing heavily from the Model 3 Highland refresh. The dashboard is clean and button-free, dominated by a 15.4-inch central touchscreen with thinner bezels for a sleeker look. Materials have been upgraded significantly—soft-touch vegan suede (black or black-and-white options), refined plastic trim, and new textile dashboard inserts replace the old wood trim, creating a more cohesive and upscale vibe. Build quality is noticeably tighter, with reviewers noting satisfying door-closing thuds and fewer panel gaps.
