I have the miele triflex Pro and I had the dyson v11 upuntil to weeks ago. From my perspective the miele has more quality to it than dyson v11 but miele does unfortunately not live up to my expectations. If they had the same price I would still choose Dyson v11 even if it wouldent last as long as miele…

Is it any good on carpet – I mean I saw you go over carpet but have no sense of whether it's good at agitation or grooming? We're looking at this right now to replace our V10 which is awful, but must admit at £679 for the extended battery life model (which doesn't come with the mini-turbo head) it's eye-waveringly expensive. We've other Miele products (washer, dryer and an S7 we've had 12 years now) but feel nervous spending so much – is there anything particular to recommend this or is it just another variant on the same theme everyone else is producing? Thanks
Great review. Can you turn the lights off on the head to save battery power also if you constantly used the cleaner then your carpets would not be as dirty therefore not filling up theMachine as quick
