Miele TriFlex HX1 Cat & Dog Vacuum Cleaner Demonstration & Review

In this comprehensive video I unbox, demonstrate and review the Miele TriFlex HX1 Ct & Dog cordless vacuum cleaner. After unboxing the machine, I demonstrate it on a hard floor and plush carpeting. I also test pet hair removal using the mini electro brush and the main electrobrush and show you how to empty the cleaner and maintain the filters.

Please note this is NOT a paid for promotion as I paid for the vacuum myself.

I have owned a aMiele canister vac for 20 years. I like t he fact that this is a lightweight unit and a powerful cleaner. What I don't like is all the fuss required to clean the filter assembly. I would like to know what the decibel level was as it seemed to be quite loud.

Michael Purcell says:

This is amazing I am hoping to get one for my 10th birthday 😀🥳

John Black says:

Wait a second. Miele makes an electric mini brush for their cordless vac, but they can't seem to make one for their canister machines? It's priced about right at $129. I would pay that, considering that their suction-based non-electric turbo brush is $75. That doesn't make any sense. Why would Miele do that?

Tamiya Fan says:

This vs the Dyson V10 and V11 range. How does it compare to the dysons?

Qu@ntum says:

how does this compare to say the Dyson V11?

TheMagnificentZoltar says:

Removable batteries. Are we watching Apple?

JJS says:

Was tossing it up, but buying the Cat & Dog this weekend. Well worth the $999 AUD here! #MieleForLife

Tim Baugh says:

I ordered the cat and dog but only because of the money back guarantee and it’s been returned after two or three days use. Great cleaner in the carpet leaves it nicely groomed but a realistic replacement for my Miele or Sebo upright…NO. I live in a 2 bed flat and one battery isn’t enough. With my upright if I want to do the skirting it something I just pull out the hose, with this you have to mess about. Better than Dyson particularly because you can turn it on without holding a trigger. However I have diabetic neuropathy in my hands and struggled with emptying. Additionally there is no way those filters will be lifelong. I’d rather have 2/3 Miele cylinders or a 2 Sebo X7’s for the same money. An excellent first incarnation but Miele have we work to doom perfecting this. Would buy this over a Dyson though.

Ray says:

I really like your videos. I believe I will get the Meile TriFlex HX! Pro. My wife wants a cordless I was leaning toward a canister the Miele C3. I will go to the dealer this week and take one home. I was going to get another brand but I learned a lot from you. Thank you!

Dani Cassar says:

Thanks for this review. Would have been good to see how it handles all that debris in corners and also how it charges when mounted on the wall.

Sue Flynn says:

Thorough demonstration and the power of this cleaner is obvious. Would be interested to know the run time and whether the extra battery is necessary. In addition I just wondered if the small turbo brush on the corded cat and dog vac would work on this .

Elizabeth Blackwell says:

Setting 3 nearly sucked up your sofa!

ellie rk says:

Thanks for the review. Did you say this version does NOT come with a HEPA Filter?

Day Dancer says:

Great review! How did you find the battery life? One reviewer I saw said it did not last 60 min. Probably depends on setting you’re using it at?

Red velvet says:

This or Dyson V11 ?

Nicolas Masset says:

Thanks for the informative video! Maybe one question if you don’t mind. Which head would you say is better for hard floors? This one or the Dyson fluffy?
