It does. 100%. No if, ands or buts. It does. I think the main issue wether its upright or leaning.
Well it leans. But it stands on its own.
Also, who cares that the base flips around when you move around. It still stands on its own.
How many power levels
I bought two of these, as the first one wont free stand for me. The second one was the same. Is there anyway or someway im supposed to do to stand it.? Pls help.
It stands on its own but in my case it is leaning, so it looks like it might tip over and fall down at any moment.
The price has gone up quite a bit on Amazon since this. It's now $199 and that's with a $30 coupon applied. I'm considering it, but I hate to pay so much more.

Apparently this model will stand on its own but how ?!?!? People say it doesn't and return it …. but a web site says it does..so do you but no clues as to how !? so the head just flops around all the time when your moving from one area to the next…..can you advise…
