I’m looking into a few Electrolux stick vacuums. $290 so still pondering but they have a built in blade cutter for cleaning the hair from the head which is a big problem for me

Marcus Johnson says:

I just purchased one – kmart Vac. Awesome. But you must clean after every use.

i have a cheap cordless i had the same problem i am a pretty hands on person so i took apart the head to discover the negative wire had become detached from the motor so i put them back together put the head back together turned it on AND IT WORKED AGAIN

You shouldn’t give up on it so quickly love! I had the same issue with my Dyson, and like the person before, there are screws/knob to allow it to be pulled apart and be cleaned. Works just like new. This happens with cordless vacs. #kmartvacrocks

Erica Grinstead says:

My Dyson had the same issue, and I thought it was done. Turns out hair had wrapped its self around the mechanism that allows the head to spin. Once there it had gotten hot, burnt and sort of melted together, seizing the turning mechanism. I took the head apart and cleaned it all out, and its back to new again.
I wonder if that's what happened here? Good on Kmart for being super helpful though!
Love your videos by the way 🙂

oh that sucks, i was one of the ones that went out and purchased after your review hope mine doesn't stop working. maybe add a link to this video on the first review.

Away From The Blue says:

Oh that's so frustrating that it stopped working – but great Kmart were able to refund you. Less good to hear how much difficulty you've been having getting the Oricom monitor fixed! We have the Oricom cameras and monitor and there was an issue with ours when we unboxed it – something was unplugged I think, issue with the battery or something. I (heavily pregnant) called Oricom to get it fixed and the woman was SO rude I was in tears. Maybe pregnancy hormone overreaction, but she was really rude. Ended up marching back to the place we bought it from with our rights (from the ACCC website) and having them replace it for us. Never had any issues with the second camera we bought when our youngest came along though, so that was good.

Joanne Cornish says:

I have the hoover brand stick vacuum and I paid $150 for it and I'm happy with the suction, give it a try because $50 more is well worth it 😊

Belchy 94 says:

That’s why you don’t buy cheap vacuum cleaner because they never last long the best vacuum cleaner I have used and still using is a 20 year old Kirby and it has better suction then any of the cheap vacuum cleaner around

Maysa Hazife says:

Thanks heaps love for the update. I was tossing it too just because of long term problems. Love your videos very helpful. Xx
