Jessica Fjelstad says:

Did all of this, bought new battery, and still cannot get it to charge. This was last year. Now it's been sitting there just staring at me 😢

MrFrikman says:

Great vacuum, but that little spring-loaded trap door behind the dust cup is a bit of a design flaw. If it gets clogged and you need to remove it, you need the dexterity of a Swiss watchmaker and the patience of a saint to get it back in place.

Brandon Fitzgerald says:

Mine keeps shutting off a second after I turn it on. It's fully charged and the filter is clean. WTF?

Maureen D says:

I have had the hand vac for several years – the filter housing does not remove easily – why is it so hard to silde forward????

Robert A. says:

I love this vacuum too. Recently it shuts off after about 5 seconds of use. Is there anything else I must do?

Sara English says:

My Shark Ion would not work past 10-20 seconds, even though it noted that it was fully charged. I found this video and followed the instructions and it works perfectly! HUZZAH!

Optic Nerve says:

I bought this vacuum like two years ago and completely neglected this maintenance step. There was SO much dust, but now it's sucking like a champ again! I love this vacuum!

A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome MyBest.Tools excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨

Al swisha says:

My filter is stuck lmao

nowgleaning says:

0:14 IF necessary?! My filter is basically the same colour as the handvac itself 😆
I'm wondering if it's okay to use some kind of soap or detergent, if just water will be enough?

Steve says:

Our Shark was cutting out after about 10-15 seconds, did this clean above and the filter was caked in dust and grime. Looks like it sorted out the problem.

Chris Berg says:

I've washed and used it at least twice. So far so good!
