My Shark Ion would not work past 10-20 seconds, even though it noted that it was fully charged. I found this video and followed the instructions and it works perfectly! HUZZAH!
I bought this vacuum like two years ago and completely neglected this maintenance step. There was SO much dust, but now it's sucking like a champ again! I love this vacuum!
A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome MyBest.Tools excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨
0:14 IF necessary?! My filter is basically the same colour as the handvac itself 😆 I'm wondering if it's okay to use some kind of soap or detergent, if just water will be enough?
Our Shark was cutting out after about 10-15 seconds, did this clean above and the filter was caked in dust and grime. Looks like it sorted out the problem.

Did all of this, bought new battery, and still cannot get it to charge. This was last year. Now it's been sitting there just staring at me 😢

Mine keeps shutting off a second after I turn it on. It's fully charged and the filter is clean. WTF?
I have had the hand vac for several years – the filter housing does not remove easily – why is it so hard to silde forward????
I love this vacuum too. Recently it shuts off after about 5 seconds of use. Is there anything else I must do?
