This video is a step-by-step guide to accessing and/or fixing the brush roll on your Adapt Ion Pet Cordless Vacuum.
When it comes to cleaning up after pets, convenience and power is important. That’s the idea behind the BISSELL® Adapt™ Ion Pet. Its cordless design is powered by a lithium-ion battery, meaning it’s not confined by a cord, so, it goes anywhere you go.

Thank you so much! I followed all instructions and it worked like a charm.
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed!
Wait if you can remove the brush why is there no belt and how does the motor make Suction when it is all the way at the exhaust
I took out the brush roll and thoroughly cleaned after a mishap (accidentally sucked up some kitty vomit) but now it doesn't work, won't spin. I looked at it again. Ends are clean, brush is clean, vacuum channel/hose is clear, filters are clean. Brush will spin if not applied to the floor, and the on/off switch works fine. When I try to use the vac like normal, the brush stops spinning and the red light comes on. Thoughts?
the adapt ion Pet has two sets of filters 1. the small blue and white fabric cloth filter – easy to clean 2. the large round blue 1" thick screen filter – difficult to clean and impossible to dry. SO how often to clean and how best to dry the white cloth screen filter?
Mine won’t charge up after a month of use
I’ve only had mine 6 months and the roller has stopped working, doesn’t seem to get much suction in stick mode. Worked great til now.
Thank you Bissell for posting this tutorial. I bought mine in Nov. 2019 at the recommendation of the store manager at London Drugs here in Calgary because it is lightweight, easy to use, no added filters to buy, small enough to fit in my very small apartment yet very efficient. While I clean it after each and every use to maintain it at it's peak performance, I could not figure out how to remove the brush roll to clean it more thoroughly. Needless to say, I am in love with this vacuum. Thank you once again, Bissell for a great product and for this tutorial. A grateful customer.
Mine wasn't picking anything up in fact it was spitting out dust. Thank goodness for this video I'm not good at reading directions and I actually fixed it myself woo hoo! Just vacuumed and it worked great.
Dawg mine still ain’t working after I did this
