A question. Do I need to change the roller every time I move from rugs to our wooden floors? The 'carpet' roller looks pretty much the same as the only available roller on our last two vacuums. These were a G-Tech and a Bosch – both of which were a disappointment, before that we used to have Dysons but refuse to support that awful man any more. Anyway, will it damage our floors to use the carpet brush roller on our wooden boards? It will be a pain if we have to swap rollers when going from the rugs and runners we have in most rooms to the varnished wood.
