Dyson Cyclone V10 vacuums include a new point-and-shoot bin emptying mechanism. This hygienically drives out dust and debris in one action. There’s no need to touch the dirt.
Take care to empty as soon as the dirt reaches the level of the MAX mark – do not overfill. Make sure your machine is disconnected from the charger before emptying the clear bin, and be careful not to pull the ‘ON’ trigger.
Remove the wand by pressing the red wand release button and pulling away. To release the dirt, hold the appliance with the bin in a downwards position then firmly push the red bin release button. The bin will slide down, cleaning the shroud as it goes. The bin base will then open.
Please note, the bin base will not open if the red button is not pushed down fully. Our experts are on hand to help, so leave us a comment if you’d like some further advice.

Two questions on V10 please: 1. How can I fix a broken red click connection plastic between the vacuum main body and its brush-attached plastic cylinder? 2, Is it normal to experience a significant sucton/cleaning time loss (40-50% per experience) after around 3.5 years of usage with the same suction setting and charged condition?
Mine is brand new and stuck. Very frustrating!!
I also hate there are no instructions with it. I am Old , i dont do APPS
This is the HARDEST think to empty bin. I have been wanting 1 of these for so long and now I HATE it
Dyson makes their products different, unfortunately, theres a steep learning curve. I nabbed one of these for 20$ thought it worked, but RIGHT AWAY theres a filter issue. New filter online is 30$ so yeah no, looks cool, doesn't do the trick tho. I'm gonna sell the parts, hopefully get enough to buy a vaccum that actually works.
👌👌👌
Cheaply built junk. Had to go on YouTube to find instructions on how to empty it, and turns out that the mechanism binds. Not an issue as it stopped working after five minutes.
Total waste of money, like all Dyson products. I will work harder to talk my mother out of buying such crap in future.
I couldn't see anything your subtitles completely covered the video? How odd 🙄
You're the best!
You must be joking… subtitles cover the picture.
This version has a design flaw! If you remove and wash the clear bin, it will get stuck (because it is too clean & dry). To fix this, use some powder on the red rubber seal.
Thanks so much…was given a new one by someone who got 2 for Christmas…it didn’t have instructions and I was afraid I would break it. Many thanks!
Why do I think this video wasn’t made in America? 😂
Lies it sticks all the time , even when clean, for such expensive product you would expect much better design, and I have the v11 absolute
Terrible design
