This is absolutely amazing – thank you thank you thank you! The idea of using a vacuum to clean the vacuum is brilliant. I had been gently banging things against my brick wall outside to loosen or shift it, before using the wet cleaning wipe. I also couldn't remember that was a section that can be open by something as simple as a coin. I cannot thank you enough. I was gifted a Dyson by a neighbour when he upgraded his. It was filthy and unclean. It now is shiny and lovely and a pleasure to use. I live in a small apartment where the laundry is on show so to have it looking nice does actually psychologically make a difference. Your spoken word instructions are very easy to understand and that camera angle is brilliant. Again a game-changer for me – I may again enjoy vacuuming. They are so powerful and I feel now I am getting the full clean I had hoped for.

@brettwilson3142 says:

After you clean it in the water. Just use a air hole to blow it out.

@bilalyuksel4456 says:

Dude, that was not even dirty at all ๐Ÿ˜‚

@PreahPithu4Artist says:

It would be more informative if you cleaned an actual dirty Dyson so you see where it actually get dirty. The anti tangle comb is obvious when it comes to removing and cleaning the core but what how do you give the outside covering a really good clean when gunk builds up over its surface?

@bruford911 says:

I hold the Dyson filter to the central vac outlet for cleaning.

@Thundermuffin93 says:

Your vacuum dirty looked like mine does when clean. Shessh

@Vatsugladnar says:

This is not a deep clean. Washed my time watching this

@peteosinga8845 says:

I use a cloth and an old toothbrush

@anshulbhardwaj4541 says:

So I will have to buy another vacuum to deep clean my Dyson….๐Ÿ˜‚

@mindyvernon1525 says:

Thanks for posting this video which I found very helpful. It gives me the confidence to take it apart and put the parts back together after cleaning, without my husbandโ€™s help.

@barbarasmith76 says:

Thanks so much for the great info. I cleaned my Dyson for the first time, but now have a problem! The red gasket? and the grey ring that are in the bottom of the dust bin came out (even though I didn't mean for them to) and now I am not sure how to get them back in. Can you help??

Thanks Barb

@mikefanick6522 says:

Once you clean it you are now a vacuum cleaner.

@kellynepal says:

Again, I thank you. I need to refer to it every time I need to disassemble and clean.

@goingtheextramile1 says:

So helpful! Cleaning mine right now

@ewandorfer says:

A very shallow deep clean

@lobo1001000 says:

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s not a deep clean I can barely see a dirt. Itโ€™s just a dust and he is cleaning up with the help of another vacuum cleaner ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป

@TheMissEvel says:

wow life is not easy but expensive

@a85cc says:

It is ironic just how awful and difficult Dysons are to clean ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™„

@urwholefamilydied says:

This is a complete waste of time. Why would you meticulously wipe down the inside of the canister? Literally next time you use it it will be dirty. Unless you're on meth, there's a certain level of dirty your vacuum will always be. [edit: always empty out the canister of course. Clean your filter thoroughly pretty often, I thow mine in the washing machine and then dryer on low heat. Make sure the intake hole isn't clogged. And maybe wipe down the outside every once in awhile. You don't need all of this unless you're going to sell the thing]

@barbh6987 says:

All looks great hete for usual dust, hair debris but my genius husband used a $400 vacuum on wet cat throwup whilst I was in the hospital. I can hardly bare to look at it. Ugh, sorry it's bad. ๐Ÿ˜ข

@maryodonnell5760 says:

geez dyson should come with a warning, totally unacceptable how much dirt folks have to come in contact with and I found a 50 euro basics cleaner outperformed the v10 from the off, no deep clean or much versatility from the off then to see how much clogging happens and a second one needed to clean the first…all that for 1 minute in high mode then 3 hours to recharge, I found it needed high as it was so weak…how long to do a house!

@Professional_Youtube_Commenter says:

cleaning the metal mesh bit is the most crucial bit, because that is the bit whichcreates the vaccum in the bin. Im afraid you failed really badly. you dont want to use wet anything there, it will cake up the pores. you need to use something to clear the pores.

@MrDara1952 says:

how to clean the tiny wheels is missing.

@madorkas5400 says:

this video just cost me $50 for a new bin because the gasket came completely off. had to go all the way to the dyson store just for them to tell me they cant fix it. thank god i had a warranty because if not who knows how much more expensive this video would be

@greegan37 says:

Very good video but it's for the USA V10 which while similar to the UK model is not in some respects though the video is 10 out of 10 for clarity.
