One thing I forgot to mention is the trigger on the Makita is tiring to use for long periods of time, the button on/off on the Hikoki is much nicer to use as it stays on.

Check out Wessel-Werk if you're interested in floor nozzle design. They make attachments and nozzles for some of the leading vacuums like Miele and Sebo. I have a two floor nozzles from them and they're the best I've ever used. Thanks again for showing us a less common machine state-side!
I have 4 of the Hitachi R19DSAL, my girlfriend also has a house cleaning company here in colorado and she loves them for her and her employees $59 4 em from Amazon from buckeye tools supplyused 2 be $200 a while ago, all the build dates on the tools are from 2017 but there brand new in my opinion u cant beat em look in2 em indy there gr8 n cheap n worknwith the same 18n 36v battery platform
equvalent makita xgt is around 200-220 on japanese ebay but yeah
