Halo Capsule Bagged Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Unboxing & First Look

In this video I take a look at the Halo Capsule cordless vacuum cleaner, briefly demonstrate it on carpet and hard floor and give you my first impressions.

Details below from Halo’s website.

Ultra-Light
In a world first, Capsule uses premium Carbon Fibre (more typically used in the worlds of motor sport and aviation)so that it weighs just 2.6Kg.

Carbon Fibre
This incredibly thin but strong shell, just 1 millimetre in thickness, allows Capsule to be ultra-light whilst housing a much greater internal volume than conventional cordless vacuum cleaners.
And with space for a much more powerful motor too, Capsule gives you everything you need in one ultra-light, big capacity, high performance package.

Full Performance
Capsule gives you the power you really need in a cordless. For as long as you need.
Capsule thrives on long-lasting cordless power, thanks to the latest brushless digital motors coupled with high-performance Lithium Ion batteries giving run time up to 60 minutes.
So much power in fact that it will clean as well as a traditional corded upright on both carpet and hard floor.

Healthy Appetite
Capsule is the ONLY cordless to give you the capacity of a full size upright: 5 TIMES more capacity than some cordless vacuums!
At a 1.6L capacity, Capsule means you spend less of your time emptying – in fact, you can clean your whole home in one go!

How have we done this? Conventional bagless cordless vacuums are full of complex plumbing that take up nearly half of the available room leaving very little space for dirt. Capsule’s ultra-thin carbon fibre shell and unique Dust Pouch system means all you carry is the capacity and NO heavy plumbing.

Dust Pouches
Capsule innovates with the use of paper dust pouches, which work with our high efficiency filters to provide an excellent level of filtration whilst allowing clean and contained dirt disposal. The dust pouches are also compostable and will not leave a permanent mark on the planet.

These dust pouches combine with Capsule’s unique thin, ultra-light carbon fibre shell that allows huge internal space for the pouch to expand into, giving Capsule dirt capacity to rival full size corded uprights.

Truly Clean
Your vacuum cleaner should get the dirt out of your house. Not just out of your carpets and onto your kitchen work surface.
Capsule encapsulates dirt, allowing for effortless disposal. The days of getting covered in dust when you empty are gone!

Which cordless vacuum would you recommend for a house with short pile carpet. Only hard floor is tiny bathroom and small kitchen. No pets. Max budget is £200. I have had my dyson dc44 for 6 years and its not picking up as well as it used to. Has served me well but need something else now. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi there I was wondering what happened to your Vorweck demonstration videos. I can’t find any. X

Is this the same Halo that made the Halo UV upright, that later partnered with Oreck to make/sell the Oreck Halo?

MrsDThew says:

Hunt Computer help says:

It looks like something Dyson would make back in the 90s

Sparkmeister says:

What happened to R&D ? looks half decent and good to see a bagged cordless.

Japanese cleaner Ichiro says:

I'm sorry to comment. I'm Ichiro, a Japanese cleaner. I made a video of what is happening in the book today. Japan with beautiful cleaning is an image. In fact, it is full of garbage. There is no beautiful country Japan here.

Jonathan Cantliff says:

Looks like it has a carbon fibre affect on the design

CYBER EMERALD 2023 says:

This channel should have more subscribers

Paul Illingworth says:

Sounds like a Vax blade 2 max even the floor head, an interesting vac especially being a new model and bagged. I like the retro looking body of the machine. A flexi hose would be good on it too.

Dawn Williams says:

Roger, you are the very best at demonstrating vacuum cleaners. I was looking for a cordless vac, and saw this one advertised but didn’t buy it. I’m glad I didn’t. I would have liked a motorised brush and a detachable battery. It also looks cumbersome if you were using it to clean the car, say down the side of the seats.

just asking stoke says:

I like this a lot

Shaun Ginge says:

Definitely needs cloth bags paper not that good quality

George G says:

I would what a hepa-flo bag so you have more filtration

Isaac Howard says:

The Halo song was in my head the entire video Il now listen to it to 😂😂

m80tmm says:

Love it! at last a bagged handheld. I will buy when my Sebo felix and Oreck eventually fail in year 2052.

loftatic 1 says:

His house my be spotless with the amount of hoovers he tests!!

Fabulous Heathen says:

To be honest, I would not buy this. It looks cheap and seems to struggle while running. I went to the website and here in America that would cost around $325. It seems that a much better cleaner can be bought for that amount of money. My Riccar Vibrance was only $350 and you get a seemingly better machine.

happysporran says:

They are now supplied with removable brusheads. I ordered mine direct from the supplier's website. Also came with free wall bracket.

nzjustin says:

Gtech Pro might be better

Crag LaBrake says:

I hope they can survive and it is wonderful to see bagged in the world of bagless! I love the retro look, it is so cool and wonderful.

Neil Mansfield says:

Yes if the head is heavier it will not move off the carpet

Steve Jones says:

Would have been better if they used the Hepaflo type material to make the bags rather than paper, as paper bags would lose suction on this before they are properly full, and need changing more often. I was quite surprised to see they used paper to be quite honest, but they do supply quite a few spare bags, so maybe not that much of an issue. Its a much better price than the ridiculous price Lupe want for their cordless vacuum, and it doesnt look too bad, I quite like the design, its quite retro, like a bullet shaped 1950s style cylinder mains vacuum.

Peter Wynn says:

Tbh it seems quite basic for almost £250.

VacMaster1991 says:

That power head is almost identical to the one used in the Hoover blade. Interesting.
