Purchased used — looks new Although the packaging for the item was ripped up and very roughly re-taped, the Dyson extension hose itself was in perfect condition. I have a Dyson DC65 which, thankfully, came with a universal fit adapter. That was necessary for this extension hose to fit onto my vacuum hose. Immediately after receiving the extension, I connected it to the vacuum and was thoroughly delighted at how much easier it is to use many of the tools than it was without the extension. Not a TRUE extension. Doesn’t work with the wand tool (at minimum) Not sure why but you would think a Genuine Dyson tool would allow for the other tools to work with it. My wife wanted to utilize this WITH the wand, but it will not connect to the end of it. I thought maybe I could connect it directly to the vacuum and use the extension BEFORE the original hose. Nope that didn’t work either. The original hose appears to be non-removable.It does appear to work with some tools, but it is not a true extension if all tools won’t work with it. I think…
