Fit a 10 yr old Dyson DC14 Animal perfectly Snapped off a prong on the original 10 year old cord. Checked YouTube for a how to video, didn’t look to hard, so ordered the part. Disassembled it that night. Part arrived today and took me all about 5 minutes to reassemble the vacuum. It works. When you order it, it asks to put in the model number. It told me it doesn’t work with the DC14 Animal for some strange reason. Other reviews said it did. DC14 is DC14. Fit and works fine. I might quit my day job and become a Dyson DC14 repair…
Not Just for DC14! I used it on my fan (AM02) and good as new I took a a chance and tried this out to repair my Bladeless tower Fan, or AM02, after I broke one of the prongs on the plug. It worked like a charm!As others mentioned the plastic parts on the ends werent connnected, so I saved the orginal ones and switched it out no problem.Best part was disassembling it, I got to do a massive deep cleaning, which was a bit terrifying to see how much debris was built up in there. Works like new! I’m not sure if it would work on all dyson…
