G Tech Air Ram Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner Pick Up Demonstration

This is my G Tech AirRam being put through its paces on hard floor and carpet.
It performs very well on both surfaces, as well as some mains powered vacuum cleaners I’ve reviewed.

Now available in Pink!

You may need to increase the volume from 5:20 as it is quieter for some reason.

I have one of these & it's awful, only really working (& then not very well) when it's fully charged & the filters are perfectly clean.

They really are a waste of money & it's a very long list of the things they can't do, such as edges, stairs, thick carpets & floors.

As you are in England I was wondering if you've ever been able to try an American made Kirby or metal Royal upright or an Aerus Home canister vacuum cleaner and what your thoughts were on them?

Will oHanlon says:

Which would you pick between this and the VAX cordless upright? Thanks and subscribed by the way.

Your wife would probably kill you if she knew what you were doing while she was out

I am so delighted (as well as my lower back) with this vacuum cleaner.  I've only had it for one month, but I've vacuumed MORE in that length of time than in the last year!  We have a Hoover with attachments which I will keep for the above floor cleaning, but it is such a heavy and awkward machine compared to this.

Ellen Proctor says:

Hi Roger, we currently have a dyson dc35 animal cordless, a bit unimpressed, used mostly on our tiled and wooden floor but also have a small rug, the dyson scratches the wooden floor badly and doesn't pick up Labrador hair from rug unless you go over about a thousand times! Also it constantly cuts out which drives me mad! Currys have agreed to take it back and I am thinking of changing to Gtech, as you are the vacuum guru, what do you think? Kind regards, Ellen

Julia Meadows says:

I have one of these and I absolutely LOVE it. Would happily recommend to anyone.

emma a says:

I think g-tech should pay you to do these reviews, very helpful, thanks! (wish I had a nice easy going bloke like you who liked to be clean and tidy!)

ibaisaic says:

Yes, for a cordless vac it cleans very well.
