NOTES:
1. The model I have is the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum, the IZ251 (related to the IZ201) with dual batteries, and it’s the Pet Version with extra accessories
2. The features include:
a) Twintech Duo Clean floorhead – good for cleaning hard floors and carpets. No need to change floor heads. The floorhead is also unique as it features Anti Hair Wrap Technology, which means you shouldn’t need to untangle the hairs which usually wrap around the brush.
b) 80min run time as the model comes with 2 removable batteries and a charging dock
c) Flexology technology (used to be called IonFlex) so you can make less work of cleaning hard to reach areas
d) Included pet accessories like a mini motor brush head – makes it easier to clean pet hairs
e) What also is nice is that it is anti-allergy, so it has a HEPA grade filter inside and I believe it is a sealed system, so poor quality air should not leak out of it. Shark say it should trap 99.9% of allergens.
f) Shark also offer you a 5 year guarantee (2 years on the batteries) which is a pretty decent warranty (as long as it is honoured).
g) Model is Shark anti hair wrap flexology iz251uk

Hi did you tested shark hz500ukt? If yes what do you think ? Thank you
We have a Dyson cordless V6 that my missus got free from work (shes an electrical buyer) and it CONSTANTLY gets clogged with hair, it on a regular basis needs declogging on the brush head which is a pain. I also feel that the suction isnt as good as it was when we got it over a year ago so we basically just abuse it now using it to solely hoover up the kitchen floor which attracts all kinds of debris. We have a Shark AZ950ukt corded that ive had since Nov 2019 and thats been brilliant. Never clogs up and is a really hungry machine but i think i want to get a cordless version to complete the set for just light hoovering and the car.
Well Iโve just bought this model for ยฃ160 brand new. Not a bad price considering their RRP is ยฃ350 (ยฃ250 on sale)
Iโm not a fan of Shark machines, had / got Dysonโs and always been ok, another I got and ended keeping is a vax blade one PWR and itโs overlooked often and itโs an excellent machine to be fair to it.
Gd vid,i want to get rid of my dyson v10 as it is ripping up my high pile carpet!…i have been told the shark.is more gentle? Do think this is true?
I can't decide.. This Shark that you reviewed or a Miele corded bag less model..
I like the power of the corded models.. But they are heavy and bulky
The cordless models I think are always a lot less powerful and their batteries limited duration… But certainly much lighter and easier to move around the home and go upstairs or down..
That pork pie hat is conducive to good vacumn reviews ๐
Nowadays, most electrical goods are produced with obsolescence built in. For instance, mobile phones used to last for years before it stopped working and you needed a replacement. Now, it'll start to slow down after a year or so. Just in time to replace it with the shiny new model. I've had my Dyson DC8 for over 15 years, and it's started to lose its suction power – hence my having to retire it. I've never owned a cordless and was considering a Dyson but, from the reviews I've read and watched, they're way over-priced and don't have seem to have the same longevity, or quality, as they did previously, despite the move to cordless. I've been researching online for weeks and I'm now divided between the Shark Flexology, and the Miele Triflex HX1. It's over ยฃ100 more than the Shark and depending on the colour, can look sleek and sexy, but is a bit of a faff to dissemble and reassemble.
should try the chinese brands like the ones found on gearbeast etc…
stands up on its own?
