I still have my Dyson from 08'. My vacuum I hate to say has outlived the dogs that I got it for. I have more dogs now, and I'm going to get a new cordless Dyson. I don't have to, but I am updating.
I bumped into this video while doomscrolling on shorts. Ever since I deep cleaned my new house a few days ago and got horrible shoulder pain from vacuuming the carpet on the living room and bedroom that I started looking at Dyson and Shark cordless hoovers. My current one was a £20 one I got from eBay like 5 years ago and it's a pain to use on thicker carpets + way too noisy (I was a broke uni student when I got it). After reading all these comments I gave in and bought a V11 Extra. Now waiting for it to arrive so I can see how good it is
dyson is not a vacuum cleaner company ,they make insanely balanced propellers for the motors,thats why it generates better vacuum and is better then the competition while consuming less power
My 1 complaint with my Dyson is that it is so close to the ground it isn't good at vacuuming up food spills (dry cereal or crackers my toddlers spill and or crush)
when i first saw the laser thing on the commercial, i thought that was dumb and redundant. but after using it for a while and when I vacuum without the laser head, i felt paranoid that the floor was not clean. lol. now i wish they have the laser thing on corded vacuums. I wonder why they don;t make it
Love my v15 Detect because of its power, easy to use, can reach all areas, and attachments make it way more useful compared to my old up right Hoover push vac.
We have a Dyson like that, and love it. They are crazy expensive, but we’d replaced three sweepers killed by cat hair and it was more expensive to keep doing that.
I had one of these – my husband loved it. When he passed, I found I could not use it because the hand grip is too thick for my hands. I do wish the piece my hand went around was thinner. I gave it to my DIL, she loves it. 🙂
Something dyson owners forget is to read the manual for cleaning instructions. If it’s not rinsed regularly the air will get blocked and lose suction. Lots of used, not working dysons for sale on Marketplace for cheap that just need to be cleaned 🙂
As cordless vacuums go it's a great vacuum. However it's Way overpriced and the motors die out just past warranty and buying something like a shark is cheaper than the repair IF IT CAN EVEN BE REPAIRED. Also washing the rear filter if it is not 110% dry it will kill your motor. It's truly both a great and terrible design. The older corded Dysons were built much better that their new Battery brothers

Do Dyson cordless vacuums have a motorized brush? All the Dyson my mom have used use air for the brush rotation and I’m wondering if they updated it

For me, the Dyson vacuum is the best , it is worthy! I just love it ! But I don't recommend the Dyson hair dryer!!
I have a shark and its suction is not good when you switch it to hand held little size. 😢
Expensive is if you don’t get what you paid for.
I have this Dyson and I also have Jimmy. For me,Jimmy is better. Dyson only looks better in my home. I reach for my Jimmy always
Dyson = clean 🥳
I love my cordless Dyson! I can vacuum my house many times before it dies. I do live in a smaller craftsman home. So it’s perfect for mw
We have three big dogs and the amount of sweeping I have to do is a big pain in the butt.
