katkat33 says:

Hey guys, just wondering if the soft roller cleaner head can do its work on a low pile rug/carpet? Or is it completely ineffective? Only have a rug at home and not sure if I need the carpet roller tool. Cheers!

beijosparavoce says:

Dude..how dirty is your house if you only vacuum the stairs once or twice a year? GROSS

Daniel Corg says:

When I unpacked it it I immediately had buyer's remorse. Then after I assembled it and started using it, I was very happy. So much easier to use than the corded vacuum. I've only had it a week. I hope it holds up as well as the one you bought in 2005.

Cheryl Gregory says:

My husband and I are transitioning to RV'ing full time while we take travel assignments. It's just not practical to lug around a ShopVac and a vacuum cleaner. Β Thanks for a concise video on the V8. Β I think it will be the perfect lightweight RV 'do all' for the RV, car and dog fur.

Klebber Bezerra says:

unnecessary comments made the video very long.

Shannon Corson says:

Your video is the best for reviewing the V8 Absolute. I've never had a Dyson, and have been seriously contemplating buying this cordless because I No longer have carpet, just laminate, tile and area rugs. I called Dyson today to try to understand the difference between the V6, V7, and V8, but you guys did great at selling this one to me. I'm glad to have read the comment about Bed, Bath and Beyond matching the price. πŸ˜‰ Thank you so much for easily explaining each and every attachment, and the benefits of this one. 😁

Johan Van Der Meer says:

Does the carpet attachment damage laminate floors?

TheRealAwesomePersonOfCoolness says:

It's 500 at my local costco

Reynaldo Velazquez says:

Would you guys recommend to buy directly from Dyson or Amazon ?

August Bisson says:

I enjoyed your review and found it helpful. You make a good point when relating investment to usage. I could buy a $300 vacuum and save $300, but lose $300 by rarely using it (getting it in and out of storage, carrying the heavy thing up and down stairs, tripping over the cord, and having to reset the electric switch in the basement when it gets tripped during use, etc.).
I like that this model has a long charge and has tools that one would find with a canister vac, which is the vacuum type I've historically favored.
However, I am not so keen on how the bin is emptied. In your video and another one that I just watched, the flap swings back after opening and slams the debris to the side like a racquet making a mess. You show not the clearest footage of that action and don't really discuss it. Would you mind sharing your sentiments on that aspect? Is it less of a non-issue than it seems?
Your team approach keeps things lively and your personal experiences with other models and how they compare adds depth to your review. Very good! Thank you so much!

You guys deserve more subscribers. Great video. Keep at it guys.

Berny Scavo says:

How about the Absolute Plus?? Comes with way more attachments πŸ™‚

Irma Roche says:

Great video. I have a V6 motorhead and love it. This one is tempting for the longer battery life.

LLR 3 says:

Nice review guys. I think I've made my mind up about buying one.

P4- K4 says:

This video just cost me $850 here in Australia. There goes my PlayStation VR fund!, hopefully it will work awesomely like you guys described. If not I'm sending it y'all for a refund. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

If you have previous generation Dyson tools, you can also now get the adaptor:
