I have v8 is not good because the battery only last 20 minutes and battery is not removable and I have to wait for recharge the batteries make the battery we can changing like milwaukee not enough running time

What people don't realize is that the true test comes from lifting up your rug or carpet to see if the vacuum truly performed. If there is still dirt underneath, then your vacuum is inferior. Thus the Rainbow is still the best.

i got the v8 and did a lot of research aka YouTubing and looked at the vacuum war channel and saw it on sale at target for 250 during the Black Friday sales
I appreciate the review, thank you! I just purchased a refurbished v8 model for the convenience of having the furniture motor head. I’m curious to know how your v8 is working now.
Try using the V7 attachment on the V8, or vice versa. Based on other tests from others, they all seem to agree the V7 performed better. But it seemed like the design of the V7 attachment was the main factor.
Maybe you can try the motorized head from your mom's V7 on your V8 and repeat the test to see if has something to do with the age of your V8 and you might need to get your motorized head replaced. I just got a V8 and it's great. I was going to buy the V7, but Costco here by my area only had the V8 at the store and it was only a $50 difference, so I went with the V8.
