Missing Attachments I was so excited to get this as a gold box deal. I had wanted the Dyson forever, but have a great shark and couldn’t justify a second vacuum just to be cordless. When I received it I was disappointed to find that it was missing the mini motorhead for cleaning was not in the box. I reached out immediately to get this rectified. After much emailing the solution they offered was a $20 refund for a part that is $49 to buy from either Amazon or Dyson or I could return the vacuum (not exchange) and…

Buyer beware not-so-hot This is a refurbished unit! it arrived with the wrong brush accessory that did not fit onto the vacuum. Dyson customer service did agree to send me the correct brush accessory in two weeks. At max power the battery life is only 6 to 8 minutes. They claim 30 to 40 minutes at low power. It’s not really enough time at max power to vacuum the entirety of my 700 square foot home. This vacuum is excellent for picking up dog hair and dust on carpeting and bare floors. Design flaw administers shocks every few seconds Apparently this is a fairly common problem with these: the charging port is on the hand grip, and administers shocks every few seconds. People who have reached out to Dyson are being fed a company line about static electricity, but noone really believes that. Dyson will mail out a replacement screw which does seem to mitigate the problem for some. My solution? A short strip of electrical tape over the port and no more zaps, at least for me.
