The emptying system alone is the reason I will not buy this version now. I couldn't stand sticking my hand in there.

Do you think any of the attachments can be used for a shag rug?

MrWolfSnack says:

The trigger part of the vacuum looks so much like an R/C car controller. lol Also I'm sure you can pop in some higher power, more amperage battery in there if you dismantle it and get the battery type name and then match that style but with a larger capacity online. I can guarantee that if they made one vacuum have a bigger battery than the other, when it's the same design, that they never changed the battery compartment. I had to do that with my 1980's Dustbuster, they no longer make Ni-Cad batteries in that style, and any old stock is long since dead forever, so had to fit modern replacements which are a lot more powerful than the original tech, and the vacuum is incredibly powerful now and lasts a lot longer.

K Stevenson says:

No more Fluffy's. Dyson aren't making anymore either. They're doing a V6 Total Clean that includes all the heads in the the Fluffy box on promotion today for £239.00 plus £50's worth of accessory tools (the hose etc) for free. Free delivery. 35 days money back trial and their 2 year manufacturers warranty. Not a bad deal.

Diane Beckett says:

On my Hoover freedom cordless vacuum there is a switch to keep the trigger locked in the on position ..so you don't have to keep your finger on it ..a small but very useful addition that I'm surprised Dyson haven't incorporated into their cordless cleaners ..

I've always wanted a fluffer.I find the design of these types of machines compelling and as I'm turning 56 years old in two months I'm considering one though I'm still apprehensive about having a cordless machine. Something tells me that in a in a few years these will be the best selling type of machines on the market.
