Good to know! We have 3 pets at home and tons of dog hair everywhere, it would be perfect for our floors.
Great information! We have older models of both these vacuums; essentially a different tool for different uses is the way I look at it. We have both thick carpet and hard surface floors. We also use a Shark for deeper cleaning days and the Dyson for every day lighter duty cleaning. The price point on the Dyson is crazy and I would definitely look for a sale or buy an older model if available to get similar features.
